I think she is looking for someone to tell her what to get. Nothing wrong with that. A couple posted some good links. Doesn't sound like she needs top end stuff. It seems that a laptop would be her best option. If she gets a docking station, she could use her existing printer/monitor and such. I've seen hlaptops that would serve her needs for under $350.
