2 nights was all she could stay for

This is another weird story from me, It all started when my pregnant girlfriend can to stay with me at my parents place. The trouble all started shortly after she arrived. The house was always eerie but I think because she was pregnant that something in the house came back to life in a matter of speaking. Before I go on I should tell that my girlfriend can see spirits. One night we were sleeping in my bedroom and she said she saw someone across the street dressed in what she decribed as a fisherman slicker coat. I looked out but couldn't see anything, later when we were both sleeping, I awoke to her making what sounded like choking noises as soon as i woke up she could breath again she had then jolted awake and told me that it was the man across the street that she had earlier seen choking her. If that wasn't bad enough the next night she was laying in the room alone and a dark shadow came in through the doorway it rolled in like fog as she described it and then quickly like being sucked out through the door it was gone she couldn't get to sleep that night cause everytime she closed her eyes she heard a voice telling her it was coming for her and feeling hands grab for her. The next day she informed me she could no longer stay in the house because of the evil she felt there became to strong so she went to stay with her family for the rest of the week till we moved into our new home. Even to this day she still feels the evil in the house whenever we visit and will not go in my old room alone. After we moved out we went to visit there and once we noticed a mark on the wall that formed a weird looking symbol I pointed it out to my girlfriend and we copied down what the symbol looked like and she did some research on it in some books she owned and looking through a book of runes we came upon the symbol and the meaning behind this rune was evil the symbol was right across from my old rooms doorway I then began to wonder if that had anything to do with the events that my girlfriend encountered while staying there.
