roguemouser Posted January 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Hi. I came here looking to ask if these dreams I'm having are possibly telling me of things to come. My dreams are usually weird. I remember as a child dreaming of a giant purple octopus chasing me throught a forest. That's the sort of dream I usually have, weird, abstract, seldom anything mundane. In November last year, 2015, my wife and I separated. Since then, I've had three different dreams, two of them recurring, all happening on nights that I've prayed for some sign as to whether we might reconcile. All the year before we separated we talked about what we would do after our daughter graduates high school in 2018. The two possibilities we settled on were moving to Seattle, Washington or buying an RV and traveling for a few years. As it stands now, I have no way of contacting her. The first of the dreams I had after we separated was that we were buying an RV from a dealership. I saw the RV in full color. I've had this dream twice. The second, which I've had three times, is that she called me from a local hospital. The dream was exactly the same all three times. The third, just three nights ago, was that we were meeting at our favorite Starbucks coffee shop to begin talking about reconciliation. She was wearing her heavy brown winter coat, but the sun was shining bright, which all leads me to believe it was late winter or early spring. All three of these dreams were very vivd and seemed very real. I know that precognitive dreams exist, and I've had a few that later came to be true in my life. (Not the giant purple octopus, thankfully ) I also know that dreams can soemtimes be a way of processing events. I'd like to know the opinions of people here as to whether these might be dreams of things to come, or just my mind processing the things I most desire. Anyone want to offer their input?
