Still Waters Posted May 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2013 It would certainly have made life easier for Lassie. Scientists are designing computers that can be used by dogs so they can play, operate household appliances and even communicate with their owners. The researchers hope the technology can help make daily tasks quicker and easier for the animals in the same way it has transformed the lives of humans. http://www.telegraph...or-animals.html
freetoroam Posted May 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2013 I can see how this will help some, but the use of computer to communicate has already taken away some natural instincts from people who are dependent on it, so now we are going to do the same with dogs and take away their natural instincts because it suits US better. Only time will tell how some dogs will react to this, for some it will work well, for others....we just do not know yet.
Lilly Posted May 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2013 How many times would this option: For animals needing to raise the alarm, for example, they would have a device that allowed them to summon the emergency services at the push of a button. Result in: It's a cookie emergency! Feed me now! My guys would be pushing it all day long.
