i feel connected to dead Race Car Driver

This feeling of connection started when I first watched the movie RUSH and the scene where the driver got Decapitated, I swear i saw the car differently than when i saw the movie a second time. The first time I saw that scene, i saw a big FINA sponser written on the car and the car was red and white. The second time, the car was blue and had ELF sponser. I SWEAR! Another thing was that i actually remember seeing that in real life but i was born 20 years later than the crash. IT FELT LIKE I WAS THE ONE ON THE CAR DECAPITATED! as soon as i got home i looked up the real crash and found out it really happened to a Formula 1 driver named Helmuth Koinigg in 1974 AND HIS CAR WAS A RED AND WHITE FINA SPONSERED CAR! as soon as I saw a picture of him before he died, I felt a sudden connection to him, like he is my friend but i never heard of his name before. The same exact thing happened to another driver exactly a year earlier at the same exact track at Watkins Glen. I felt no connection to him even though his car was the blue ELF sponsered car i mentioned earlier. I looked up other drivers that had similar deaths but HE IS THE ONLY ONE I FEEL A STRANGE CONNECTION TO! I feel him everywhere i go! It feels as if he is my friend

Please! i need a good answer for what is going on

Maybe it was you in a past life, or you knew him really well in a past life..

If you believe in that sort of thing.

I have a similar story to tell Av8tor781, since I was born a few hours after another racind driver got killed, Jochen Rindt, on the 5th of September in 1970. Another Austrian driver like Helmuth...

I am a Formula 1 journalist and I always felt I lived a past life in the sport, recognising cars for some reason, circuits and even drivers I never saw. Places I have never visited that have always known for some reason. But this is not what I want to talk about right now.

Today I wanted to write a story about Helmuth Koinigg, since it is going to be 40 years from his death next October, and while researching I came upon your story all of which I find very spooky...

I want to know in detail about your experience.

Thanks

I don't get it, it is most likely you retain the information before seeing rush and you remember fragments of information. I think you feel sympathy for the driver, this that was the idea of the movie with the story. I do not see any thing paranormal about this.

No wonder 'you' got decapitated if you was on the car, your supposed to be in it!

Thats a poor first reply edit.

Seriously though, youve probably seen trailers / heard the history when younger and connected with it, for 2 years I wanted to be 'bishop' from aliens, felt a bond and even started playing with knives, but some how the connection was lost when I pinned my friends hand to a table at school.

I was working at the Daytona Speedway(as a seasonal employee) the day that Dale Earnhardt Sr. died in 2001. I had come home and found out that he had died.. It was a very sad day for NASCAR. I never felt a connection to him but many people who were fans and people who didn't know him felt a connection to him, even people that didn't follow NASCAR or know that much about him.

Sometimes you get a connection to someone you didn't know in life, it happens, why it happens no one knows. You read about someone and you feel a connection and sometimes you don't know why. Perhaps there is a reason but in this life it may or may not present itself.

A couple of weeks later I was working at the Bike Races for Bike week. Where I was standing, I could see the spot where he wrecked and died. There was a small memorial with flowers and a Bible. There was a saying which stated, "I hate crashing or wrecking." I felt a very strong presence of Dale Sr. and a deep sense of sadness which almost brought me to tears.

I was curious and several years later I asked people who worked at the track and some people i knew who did seasonal work if anyone of the drivers who had died on the track haunted the track. No one that I talked to had had any encounters with ghosts or spirits of these drivers (it would be interesting if any of the drivers had any experiences as they most likely would be the ones to have such an experience if their minds were open to it). I doubt that they would share this with anyone.

I do remember one of the fans at the track telling me that she felt like Dale Sr. was protecting his son, Dale Jr, Jeff Gordon and another driver (can't remember who) and protecting others on the track from crashing (although there have been several crashes since his death), Another person told me that in the backstretch that they have felt the presence of a couple of drivers who died back in the 1980's and 1990's in the back stretch area and it was very strong energy which was mostly negative. I've never felt this but this is interesting.

Looks like the connection was stronger than you thought Av8tor781, a premonition possibly?

Since starting this thread you did not heed the warnings of this 'connection' and were soon decapitated in a racing car accident. This is why you have not been able to respond to all the nice people who took the time contribute to your thread.
