Still Waters Posted January 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2015 A cat in Florida has had surgery after apparently clawing its way out of his grave following a collision with a car. Bart was discovered by its owner's neighbour in Tampa five days after he was found lying in the road stiff in a pool of blood, and was presumed dead. He is now recovering after treatment for a broken jaw and ruptured eye. http://www.bbc.co.uk...canada-31018677
seeder Posted January 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2015 That reminds me of a true story about two neighbours, a pet dog and a rabbit. The dog owner returned home and was horrified to see her dog with the neighbours dead rabbit in the garden. As the rabbit owners were out, she wiped the rabbit down with a cloth, smoothed its fur, and decided to put it back into the neighbours empty rabbit hutch and close its door. The reasoning being, the rabbit owners would simply find their rabbit, dead, in its hutch, thus not blame the dog owner. The rabbits owners came home, and it wasnt long before their little girl screamed when finding the rabbit dead in its hutch...then the little girls mother screamed. Acting concerned, the dog owner rushed into the garden innocently asking whats the matter? The neighbour, obviously horrified, can hardly speak, but eventually manages to say the dead rabbit is in the hutch, which is impossible, as it had died two days before and had been buried in their garden with a full family funeral It turned out therefore, the dog had simply found the dead rabbit and dug it up again.
