The red hair part has already been discussed but in a nutshell, black hair bleachs out to red after it dies and 90% percent of full blood American Indian babies with are born with red hair.
As for gigantism among the Ohio Moundbuilders, pituitary problems run heavy through the Algonquian gene pool (Swede can attest to this).

Really? I've been told over and over by several of our local "experts" that the Native Americans had zero history of gigantism. But, you are saying that is not true?

Here at Intel we make processors on 12 inch wafers. And, the individual processors on the wafers are called die. And, I am employed to check these die. That is why I am the DieChecker.

And another thing about red hair... I saw a documentary, long ago, about a Papuan tribe. Some kids had red hair, and that was being explained by a lack of iron in the diet.

And when are people called 'giants'? What do you people call that famous Russian boxer? He looks like a Homo Erectus on hormones, 7 feet tall (or close) and uses his opponents as boxing balls (or punching balls, I wish I could post just one post without editing it....sigh).

Another edit:

Valuev was born on August 21, 1973, in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (now Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation). He is of Russian descent, but he also had a Tatar grandfather.

He wooed his wife, Galya, with poetry that he composed himself.[citation needed] He has two young children, daughter Irina and son Grisha (Grigoriy). In his professional boxing career Valuev has been defeated only twice by Ruslan Chagaev and David Haye.

Valuev is a Russian Orthodox Christian.During his youth he played water polo and basketball.

http://en.wikipedia..../Nikolai_Valuev

He's 7 feet tall, not an alien, he's not from "Atlantis", and has nothing to with the other bullcrap people here love to believe in.

He's just a really big hombre.

Maybe on the West Coast, or among the Dine', but here in the East it's documented. I know a entire Stockbridge-Nanticoke family whose members suffer the gigantism and the uncontrolable weight gain.

Good lord, do you just say the first thing that pops into your head.  You can even find out about red hair from WIKI and it has nothing to do with black hair bleaching out to red after it dies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair

No, it is true that many ethnic groups have black hair that fades to red after they have died. You can see it in Native American remains, Egyptian mummies and many Polynisian remains.

Edit: You'll find many conspiricy theorys to try to explain these world wide red heads, that often involve lost European civilizations, which is just bunk.

Thank you! my half-sister and all 3 of my nephews were born with red hair. It turned black after the first year. Then when my sister bleached her hair with peroxide it turned red instead of blond.

Oh, my bad, I see now that they were saying after the person dies.  I thought they were trying to say red hair is from black hair that dies.

And with some people, according to my cousin who has a hair salon, some people that have black hair, when they use peroxide, their hair turns red instead of the expected blond. She's a "hair professional" (as she likes to call herself) so I tend to trust her on these matters  :D

Grand Canyon Arisona.  Parts of this canyon are allso not very clear in google earth ? does make you wonder ?

There is a lot of construction going on there behind our backs. Look at that new "sky walk" thing that suddenly popped up. They could be building houses for all we know, and they don't want us spying on them.

Many places in Google Earth are hazy, simply for privacy matters. Not every land owner is totally comfortable with a bunch of basement dwellers staring at their rooftops 24/7. I know I'd rather MY house be fuzzed out, too. You can even go street view now and see my house and one of my family members IN the house. Total lack of privacy and security.

Peroxide turns all hair red, but, not because it kills it, it is a chemical reaction, like chlorine can turn dyed hair green.

Hi Guys

Their was a case a few years ago of Large Hominid Skeletons found i think somewere near Taree NSW Australia in 1967. The Skeletons were also taken by the Govenment and the area had been Throughtly checked for any more sites. Also the Remains have also not been seen since. Its on the www.yowiehunters.com sites in the NSW reports. If you do a quick search on skeletons you will find other reports.

Simple biology tells us that humans CANNOT be 12-14 feet tall. Their legs would break. Increasing somethings size does not increase the strength on the same level. If a 12-14 foot tall humanoid existed, it would have to be some other species. Basically there were no giant humans, all skeletons have been hoaxes or misidentification.

There is also the case of Robert Wadlow, the tallest person in history at 8'11. Yet the human body was not made to be that tall. He had to use leg braces to walk and had no feeling in his legs and feet. Other 'giant' people share this problem.

If the body is under great stress at 8 feet, imagine 12?!

Man, I'm going to need to read through all of these pages when I have time.  This was the very first topic I ever made on this website the first day I joined.  I'm amazed it's still on the first page of this section.
