Weellll, either Jesus is the Son of God or he is the greeatest liar ever. How can one be a great philosopher and a liar at the same time? Jesus said himself he was the Son of God, this is the very reason why the Jews wanted him dead.

1 John 4:3 - And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Love,
Madeline.

Um everything is of god.  And by his peoples beliefs we are all sons of god.  And the jews didnt want him dead, certain factions who were in power did, plus rome killed him why doesnt anyone ever blame rome for his death.
Even in that bad movie the passion, rome was the one who whiped him and beat him. All they said was kill him.

According to Christianity you're wrong, if you're trying to explain it from a Christian perspective. God of the bibles beliefs we are not all 'children of God,' people BECOME children of God.

John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

I am Christian and I believe that we are all children of God.
If we were not then the story of the prodigal son becomes babbling nonsense.

While there are a few nice points in the gospel of John, it is my least favorite of the four gospels because it has too much gnostic style mysticism in it for me to trust the information passed on it as much as the information in the other three obviously older gospels.

If what you're saying is true, then John was either lying or completely mistaken when he said that we 'BECOME' children of God. The parable of the prodigal son. When we are "alive again" we are alive twice obviously. We are born once physically, and born twice because we are born-again spiritually. We are alive once because you are given life by God when you are brought into this world as a human being, and we are alive again because you are regenerated and are born-again. The phrase "alive again" is analogous of "born again" , not being born again twice!

"Scientists have discovered that the coffin of Jesus Christ’s brother was made of an unknown material

A sensation happened in the world of science. Specialists are certain that they found a stone of nonearthly origin hidden under the coffin of Jeasus Christ’s brother.

The news about the incredible discovery was reported by Western news agencies. They reported that that the coffin of Jacob was found, the brother of Jesus. According to the Bible, Apostle Jacob was the only step-brother of Jesus Christ. Jacob became the first bishop of Jerusalem

Specialists and archeologists who examined the finding affirmed that it is priceless. They stated that the finding is equivalent to the discovery of Troy. The following Aramaic writings are on the off-color coffin: “Jacob, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus.”

Peter Anrik, a private collector of antiques, said that he purchased the coffin for $700 in an antique shop. This was 15 years ago. He said that he was not really willing to buy that stone, because it did not look really nice as an interior decoration. However, stayed in the collector’s house. The stone was “unveiled” after Peter got acquainted with a professor of Biblical archeology, Andre Lemer. Peter invited him to come to his house and translate the tombstone’s writings.

As soon as Lemer translated the inscription, he realized that he made an incredible discovery. Lemer turned the whole scientific world upside down. Tens of specialists have been to Peter’s house since then. They have all concluded that it was the genuine finding. They said that the inscription was carved on the stone in the beginning of the Common Era. Those words might be evidence that Jesus Christ did indeed live. The Ontario Royal Museum in Toronto, Canada has already announced its wish to possess the coffin. The administration of the museum is reportedly ready to pay almost 500 thousand dollars for the right to own the coffin. Collector Peter Anrik believes that the price of the stone is much higher. He turned the offer down and even hired two bodyguards to watch the priceless ancient relic.

Hardly had the controversy settled down when another sensation happened. Andre Lemer said after a certain period of study that it was impossible to determine the composition of the stone. The professor stated that the coffin was made of a material that does not exist on planet Earth. “Hundreds of such coffins have been found in Jerusalem during archeological excavations. The research has showed that they were made in the first century A.D. That is why, the first thought that I had in my head when I saw Jacob’s coffin was there is something wrong with it. The stone differed from all other stones that I saw before. It had very small pores that could hardly be seen. At the same time, it was incredibly solid. After the tests that we conducted in the lab, I can assure you that our planet does not know this material,” said the professor.

However, the professor did not answer where the stone could have come from. Many ufologists, including Russian ones, say that the material of the coffin does not belong to our planet. Dmitry Astrakhantsev, the head of the Ufology and Anomaly Center, said: “Observations and research show that aliens were involved in a lot of things that were happening during biblical times. For example, the birth of Jesus Christ. How can this be explained, the immaculate conception? There is even a hypothesis that says that Mary and Joseph were warned about the birth of their son Jesus. They were informed by aliens –they were thought of as angels, so to speak.”

As is well known, the birth of Jesus was accompanied by the birth of the so-called Star of Bethlehem, which pointed the site of his birth. Maybe, it was not a space star, but an alien spaceship?

As far as Jacob’s coffin is concerned, the most incredible theory is as follows. Aliens decided to mark the site of his burial. The coffin was made in the shape of other coffins, but the aliens made it of their own material, from their planet. They wanted the coffin to be preserved for hundreds of years as some sort of sign for us. One could suppose that the coffin plays the role of a radio beacon, transmitting some information, but this is not really believable.

By the way, it has recently transpired that the prime minister of Canada evinced interest in the finding. Therefore the coffin will be taken to a secret governmental lab to be examined and studied there.

Father Sergey, from the Church of the Holy Trinity in Moscow commented on the issue. “The Church rejects the existence of aliens, so any discussion of this theory is out of the question for me. Both Jesus and his brother were canonized. This means that they could work miracles. One could assume that a miracle happened after Jacob’s death and his energy was passed to the stone, and it obtained unusual qualities. Speaking about Jacob’s remains, it is a sin to exhume a burial. A person who disturbed Jacob’s ashes will never be forgiven as well as the person, who kept the coffin in his home for so long. I believe that people should forget the idea of studying the stone. The coffin should be buried again, forever. '

'Aliens' those that are not native to this planet.... hmm...To think about it...aren't our 'souls' created by a Creator(s) that does not originate with this planet/universe?
Though, this planet/universe is our home for the moment, even if we are so called 'aliens' of this planet.

Jesus was a great philosopher whose ideas should be listened to. He was not the Son of God, the Messiah, the Christ, the Emannuel, or part alien.

Sorry for being away so long - personal issues!

I agree that he was a great philosopher, as for the rest .... who knows?

It seems from the writings that he did do a lot of strange stuff. How did it all happen?

Maybe he tapped into some as yet undiscovered bio-energy that enabled him to cure people of blindness, make people walk, and raise the dead.

Or maybe it just appeared that way to 1st century people.

I truly believe that there is a lot about this universe that we do not know.

I am just trying to find the truth, whatever it may be.

I don't necessarily believe it comes from the writings of others just like me who were searching too, but maybe it all leads where it's supposed to.

IPB Image\ A long time ago I read a series of books wherein the author translated ancient tablets that describe an alien race being the gods of humanity. And I think it's interesting that religious icons , windows of churches, and the like, are seen to depict flying craft , some with little humanoid shaped people at the wheel. All long before the advent of flying machines. And I wonder if, in the bowels of the Vatican library for instance, there isn't some secret transcripts that allude to an alien presence in our genetic history and our religious.

After all the christians god is a sky father. Living in a heavenly abode, looking down, involved in everything and even has his angels organized in sects , like archangels, etc..., to assist his human creation.  It's not a unique myth, in fact it's similar to the cosmology those books I read about ancient Mesopotamia , say. Only in a manner in keeping with their contemporary understanding.
Maybe jesus was an alien hybrid, like we all are to hear those books tell it. Ascending to his heavenly father, coming back, ascending again till some future day to save us from all that they watch happen to us now. Just like the old Sumerians, Mesopotamia and even Egypt.

Maybe aliens aren’t actual physical beings that we often think them as. The idea that earth has being contacted by aliens is the assumption that life on another planet emerged at some time, but I think the problem with that theory is that those life forms would have to somehow locate earth, build space ships that can travel faster than the speed of light and make them invisible so that they could “spy” on us. So if you were to look at this from a logical stand point, it doesn’t seem to make that much sense.
If aliens truly exist, I think it’s probably an illogical phenomenon perhaps a supernatural one. I’m more convinced that aliens are hyper dimensional after reading Alien Encounters by Chuck Missler. His explanation for aliens is that they are spiritual entities like angels and demons recorded in the Old and New Testament. In the Old Testament, the Book of Genesis says “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.” He suggests that aliens are these sons of God and furthermore stresses the idea that the fallen angels had materialized and interbred with man creating a race of nephilim (a hybrid) He also emphasizes that UFOs could not be literal space crafts because the rate at which they move appear to defy the laws of physics and do not create sonic booms (which happens when something moves faster than the speed of sound like a military aircraft)
Of course his theory is just one of the other possibilities, it still remains as one of the less popular explanations for Aliens, UFOs, abductions, and so forth.

He that believeth in me shall have everlasting life.

This means we have lived before.

and will live again, it refers to reincarnation. most would not want to believe this because then they would not be able to judge others, for who knows what the acuser did in his lifes before.

Iam  a son Of God , and My Eternal spirit has been around since before this world ever was.

Actually it does not refer to reincarnation. (There's no such thing).

If you read the scripture you would see that "believing" is a prerequisite to the "everlasting life".
