A couple says they were forced out of their dream house after receiving threatening letters from someone who goes by an ominous name: "The Watcher." The couple alleges that "The Watcher" sent them and their three children a trio of threatening letters last summer. According to court documents obtained by NBC News, the mysterious writer allegedly asked the family, "Why are you here? I find it very interesting and it has my attention. I heard the family is suing the previous owner because they knew about the "stalker/watcher" and didn't disclose the information. :/ I hope this gets resolved soon. Or some viral marketing thing gone overboard, I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt its not that. I'd Buy a big pair of binoculars then id be the one doing the watching until i catch him, then i'd watch hes silly ass go to jail. Why should they waste time being angry at the previous residents, when they should be catching this guy and throwing him away for good. This is a nutjob out on the loose, get him and help the whole freaking neighborhood! Hasn't the police been brought in? I really am confused at this, considering this made the media. That is very possible - but none the less - still very disturbing.This is obviously are very manipulative and sick individual. What I did find most disturbing was the remark - "I am pleased to know your names now, and the name of the young blood you have brought to me." Now this was obviously said in reference to their children - some kind of sick and twisted veiled threat. Since they and the authorities, are clueless as to who this individual is thus far. I would have probably moved out of the residence as well - more so to protect my children. When it comes to children - no parent should take a risk. Lets hope they apprehend this nutter soon, so this family can live in peace. Also - putting the blame on the previous owners, for not disclosing information concerning these letters - is pretty much a legal grey area I would think. It really wasn't their fault. Is the current watcher toting around a child now, too? I would assume his kid would need to pass on the family tradition. God forbid the guy's kid decides to work at McDonald's instead of following in his daddy's footsteps. The something in the walls is called insulation. Why would I be digging around in the walls? If there is a dead body in there, then it's decomposed and it can just stay there, it's not smelling after all this time. Don't enter downstairs cuz I keep my 8 pitbulls saved from euthinization down there cuz they just killed the mailman, and a jogger last year. And where's the treasure in the walls? Cuz we just remodeled the whole place and only found old insulation and a dead mouse. I suggest you go back to playing your computer games in your mom's basement cuz you got the wrong house b**** lol. Now if they sent me a video or some sort of proof they were watching my family/house, then I could get the police involved. If the letters to the buyer were indeed sent by a psycho, then why wouldn't that person send them only to the occupant(s) and only after they had actually taken up residence? Why would someone desiring to torment the new occupants warn them ahead of time, and why send letters to the sellers and brokers who are not on their "psycho radar"? They also provide for convenient 'evidence' of misdemeanour on the part of the seller and broker when the buyer lodges suit against them. It smacks a bit of a fraudulent 'sting' operation. Given the high probability they would be sued and lose more than they stood to gain, I find it unlikely the sellers are the perpetrators behind the letters. I think you making points that I think would show this is more than just a particular single individual who is just doing now. There is very little information in this article but I agree that something is fishy. 1.3 million is a large amount of money and there could be a lot of motivation to create a hoax like this. If it really is a criminal act, it's beyond stalking, it's terrorism - a very serious crime that would get the cop's attention.
