ANZAC Day Terror Plot Foiled

A security official with knowledge of the police operation to foil an Anzac Day terror attack says the plot involved running a police officer over and then killing him with a knife.

Those behind the plot then planned to take the officer's gun and go on a shooting rampage that would have ended in their deaths, the official told 7.30.

Australian counter-terrorism officials are investigating links between the most senior Australian with the Islamic State terror group, Neil Prakash, and the group of Melbourne teenagers who were targeted in Saturday's raids.

Attacking on ANZAC day, lowest of he low. Lets hope there are no more "plans" to sour a day of honour.

The people planning such a cowardly massacre are the bottom of the barrel, lowest of the low. Lets hope they receive the right justice. Scum of the scum of the scum of the earth.

I agree. The ANZAC forces fought like lions when compared to the 'mericans.

Especially in Turkey. Jesus, they did things I would consider outside of human possibility and so astoundingly brave/courageous as to warrant only awe struck admiration.

Also most 'mericans may have forgotten how hard you fought in the Pacific, how so few of you did jobs that could only be *done* by forces that should have been 3 to 5 times larger.....

I will just leave this here though....
