haunted-one61 Posted May 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Hi, everyone. In searching the net for some info/community into the unknown this site seemed to me to be very supportive. I will try not to make this too long, but at this stage in my life I now have a lot of (absolutely true) stories that I can tell you. The reason that I am posting this one is because I thought maybe the bad experiences were finally behind me, but the past few weeks have proven that to be not so. I will just tell you about the current issue because to me it is the most unnerving. Before I start, though, I would like to tell you that in 1985 I was at my parents house, reading in bed at around 3 am. Their dog started growling. I had the feeling that I was being watched. I looked up out into the dark hallway and saw bright red eyes at human height watching me. It "felt" very evil. The dog continued to growl, baring her teeth, and the thing just stayed there. Then the dog started to wimper. I jumped up and shut the door. Ten minutes later I pulled open the door a little and peeked out. It was still there. I nearly peeded my pants. I closed the door again. About five minutes later, the dog stopped growling. I opened the door a little again, and it was gone. Two days later, I went back home (I had been visiting from out of state). I never saw any red eyes again, although other things happened, and in 1992 my small son was terrified all of the time by what he called the doggy with red eyes in my bedroom. He was the only one who saw that one, different house, bought new. The house I'm living in now we bought 7 years ago. It "felt" good to me from day one. Then last week I was startled awake at around 3:30am.I saw red eyes next to my bed watching me. This time they were dim and had they been human I would call them beady. These were pretty close to the ceiling, making them 7 or 8 feet tall. Two mornings ago, on the 4th, I was startled awake again. This time at first I thought I smelled windex. As I woke up a little more, it seemed more like a bottle of full-strength ammonia. The smell was coming from the side of the bed where I see the things. I only see them in my bedroom. Yesterday evening at around 5pm I was in our living room (another floor of the house) and smelled the over-powering scent of lilacs. Nobody else could smell them. This lasted for about half an hour and then just disappeared. I should mention that also back in 1985 my then-husband worked offshore on the oil rigs. For 2 weeks I kept smelling lilacs very strong, and again, nobody else could smell them. I kept feeling that my husband was in danger. One night while out on the rigs, he got hurt very bad, almost killed. I talked to him that night and kept saying "please be careful". After his accident, the lilac smell went away. I never had it again until yesterday, except this time I'm not getting a "feel" yet about anyone. Has anyone ever had anything like this? Also, I mention the times because whenever I do see anything it's almost always between 1:30am and 4:30am. One more interesting thing: my dog will go into my bedroom in the daytime or when the alarm clock goes off at 5am but WILL NOT go in there during what I call the "creepy hours". I used to get up at 3am to get ready for work before I was off injured, and he wouldn't come in there. He would wait until I came upstairs to the bathroom to greet me. I think animals KNOW. Angelfish Posted May 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2004 (edited) hmmmmmmmmmmmm...... Are you sure? Like, no memories involving flowers or cleaning products? Oh! Just a thought, but perhaps it's your demon. I realize this might not be the answer you were looking for, but it's what I got for now. Is there anything that you haven't already posted that you think might help? Edited May 6, 2004 by Angelfish
haunted-one61 Posted May 6, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted May 6, 2004 I have already posted some of it- this is just more of a beginning to end version. I guess I could go back and look. But could you explain? Because it does seem to me that it is "mine" for what reason I don't know; do they follow people?
Angelfish Posted May 6, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Uh huh. I think that this demon may have taken a liking to you and is following you around and making it's presence known. Or it could possibly be trying to warn you of something. Kinna like the weird freaky vides I keep getting
haunted-one61 Posted May 6, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted May 6, 2004 would a demon warn? or do you think it means harm?
Angelfish Posted May 6, 2004 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2004 It might. But it might not be a demon, that's just the impression I got. Next time you see it try talking to it. Ask it what it wants. Try not to make it mad.
haunted-one61 Posted May 6, 2004 Author #9 Share Posted May 6, 2004 angelfish- what are your vibes? As if something bad will happen? Also, I have always had the feeling that it is a demon, too.
chico del nacho Posted May 6, 2004 #10 Share Posted May 6, 2004 this reminds me of when i had a gaurdian. it might have been one of the demons you're talking about angelfish. i'd notice wierd smells and every now and then, i'd get a gust of wind past one ear. it would change every now and then and the wind didn't have any real reason. like lying down in bed, a gust of wind coming from the bed. doesn't make much sense. anyway, it eventually left me. i think it was either because it thought i was boring or it's work with me was done. no idea what that work was. haunted-one61 Posted May 6, 2004 Author #17 Share Posted May 6, 2004 also...does anyone out there think maybe since the lilac smell kinda brought a warning of trouble in the past, there is a "protective" or good vs evil thing going on? But what would explain the ammonia? never had that. Never knew when someone would die, but in 1975 I had a dream repeatedly about a tombstone. It had my name on it and the year of death was 1983. Well my mother had the same name, and I didn't see the birth year. In 1983 she died, but by then I was married with a different last name. Anyone know why a deom would follow a particular person? My son that I mentioned in my post is now almost 14 and has lost most of his sensitivity, not all. He is my only child that ever had it, too. So far he hasn't seen the red eyes in this house. Angelfish Posted May 6, 2004 #18 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Next time you go to the library, look for a book called "Night Watch" by Terry Pratchett. Lilacs are very symbolic in it and it's what my mind keeps jumping to. Except in the book they were a symbol of mourning and painful memories.......... And a demon could easily take interest in a human. If you look at Greek and Roman Mythology the Gods did it all the time. wait.........were they more like human eyes or were they like little eye-shaped red blobs(for want of a better term)
haunted-one61 Posted May 6, 2004 Author #19 Share Posted May 6, 2004 I would say more like the inhuman looking blobs, and thanks so much for the info on the book- this is exactly what I was looking for when I found this sight- some HELP!
MK ULTRA Posted May 6, 2004 #20 Share Posted May 6, 2004 The smell of amonia is common among abductees. The red eyes could be implanted memorys by the visitors.Abductees often report the memory of eyes, especially Owls eyes before being hypnotized and finding out "the truth". It also sounds like the Mothman,a demon who warns people before a impending doom. Could also be a spirit guide, the smell of lilacs,a sign to you he/she comes in peace and wants you not to be scared. Im sure whatever it is,it will cause you no harm.Goodluck ghostbusting.

jenk Posted May 7, 2004 #22 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Did you see an out line of anything else when you saw the red eyes? were the eyes always the same length apart? Did they move?
haunted-one61 Posted May 7, 2004 Author #23 Share Posted May 7, 2004 no, the eyes didn't move either time that I saw them. As far as being the same width apart: I feel as if the eyes I saw back in the eighties were different than the ones I saw most recently. If that is true or not, I don't know. It's just that the first time they did seem a little wider apart, certainly a LOT brighter and felt ...how would you put it? More evil, or maybe more powerful. More recently, they were far more dim, closer together, and had they been human I'd call them beady. In both cases, I couldn't see any kind of outline indicating maybe even just a hint of a body shape even though in the case of the red eyes from the eighties there should have been just enough light spilling into the hallway for me to see one, I think. That has always bothered me. I mean, the thing obviously wanted to be noticed (?), I felt as though it were toying with me, so why not show all of itself? As I mentioned in my post, though, in '92 when my son was just 2 he was absolutely terrified of the "big doggie with red eyes " in MY bedroom. (different house). So he was able to see a shape. Every night as soon as it got dark, I had to close my bedroom door. He says that he still remembers some of that. He was nearing 4 years old before it got better, but I still had to keep my door shut after dark. The other thing about my son's experience that I forgot to mention in the post, and this might be important, is about the man. He was always going off so much about the red eyed doggie that I kinda forgot. He always said "The man! the man! and the doggie" Then on a few occassions we were at a local store. There was a really tall guy working there pushing carts and such. He had black hair, a kinda pointy goatee(?), probably about 6'5". He would freak when he saw him, yelling, crying, the whole nine yards, insisting that he was the red eyed doggie's man.
cor_raven Posted May 8, 2004 #24 Share Posted May 8, 2004 did you ever say anything to the eyes. somtimes if you tell things to go away they, one time one of my friends said he saw a demon like thing watching him from across his living room. at first he just ignored it but then he asked it why it was watching him and it said i dunno. then my freind said well could ya stop it's kinda anoying. thew demon said fine wel youwre borring any way. and then he left. but don't take that to seriously
haunted-one61 Posted May 8, 2004 Author #25 Share Posted May 8, 2004 wow! he talked to it and it talked back and then left ? I don't know if I could get up the courage. See, this is my boys' weekend with their dad (divorce), and my husband works 12 hour swing shifts so unfortunately this is his weekend to be working all night. It's just me and the dog. If it weren't for my surgeries I'd be working, too, and would be out of here by 4. I'm thinking about staying upstairs and out of my bedroom tonight just in case. Not feeling very brave. How well do you know your friend? Do you think that really happened?
