Hi all,

Maybe some of you are wondering why I haven't updated the site yet (mysterydatabase.com) well.. I did something really stupid and now probabably all the data on my harddrive is lost.. Including the site... I didn't had a backup so the only version is currently online. I get a faster Internet connection somewhere this week and I can download the site again (I hope..).

I also lost lots of other important data, including things from school. But thank got I already handed those in.

What happened - were you trying to set up a duel boot system with '98 and XP ?

Yes, I tried to do that, the only stupid thing was that I already had Win XP and then I tried to add 98 to it... Then something went wrong with the disk usage (win98 removed some NTFS files if I am correct).

Windows 98 cannot operate on an NTFS partition. Partition magic is a good tool to set up partitions on a hard drive that is already set up, although I am not 100% sure that it can remove the NTFS coding. An alternative to such a tragic loss while tryin to make a dual boot machine is a seperate hard drive with a removable hard drive slot allowing you to switch hard drives. Well thats my two cents.
