Yeah that's just a case of someone posting it in the wrong section, if you come across any threads that aren't where they are supposed to be hit 'report' and we'll get that moved to the right place.

If the story is primarily about Israel then it would most likely go in the Middle-East section, if the emphasis is on America's response or policies with regard to israel then its more geared towards US Politics. Unfortunately there will always be some amount of overlap no matter how the sections are partitioned however for the most part that shouldn't be too much of a problem, if something fits in either to the point where you can't tell where to put it then it doesn't really matter which one it ends up in because either would be fine.
