Anyway Karla is out. Iknow anyone from Canada (especially Ontario) is horrified, but I was wondering if anyone else around the country believes she was the killer and not Paul Bernardo. A condition for the deal was that she told the whole truth and wasn't responsible for any deaths. She lied to the police and Tammy, her younger sister, died because KH stole, then used on Tammy, the haldane(?) from the vet's office where KH worked. Raping Tammy was obviously premeditated. Bernardo was the Scarborough rapist, and he never killed anyone until he hooked up with "karly curls" They brought the worst out in each other. The first night KH and PB met she took him back to her hotel/motel and tossed a pair of handcuffs at him and suggested he use them on her. KH is one sick, twisted, wretch. No way did KH suffer from BWS. She manipulated the system and it paid off for her. The prosecutions office should be ashamed of making, then upholding, that deal. Apparently when they were holding the two girls, Kristin and leslie, Paul left them in karla's care while he went to get food. Both times they ended up dead. I thinks somewhere in her twisted little mind she felt jealous of them and offed them. I mean she's sick and demented, but she is not stupid by any means. She knew she could pin it oon Paul. She corresponded with a guy in for murder while she was in prison in Quebec. Certainly doesn't sound like she learned her lesson from the legal system... Prison wasn't kind to KH. I've been thinking ever since she & Bernardo were arrested, "Thank GOD they never had children!" I can't even imagine what they would have done to their own kids, if they were willing to do that to her sister. People like that cannot be 'rehabilitated', they're just sick. And she dared to act upset that she wasn't allowed to just "get on with her life" when they let her out. I'm honestly surprised that she wasn't lynched in prison. I would love the chance to meet her with a translator. Just curious as what she thinks and stuff. I watched Karla that was about her and Paul which was just an amazing film that showed somewhat the depths of what they went through but it played on Karla more so as a victim rather then the mastermind in this. Personally I think she just used Paul's love as an excuse and she was really into it. At the time the Crown did have to make a deal with her... But only because the lawyer hid the tapes and other evidence from the police that lead the Crown to plea deal with Karla for a reducted prison term (not like she didn't have fun baking, playing dress up and making friends in prison ) but once they got their hands on it, it was just simply too late and Karla had a free pass. The lawyer I think was charged with concealing evidence. I do think there are other rape victims out there that haven't yet come forward from fear, shame or whatever else really. Paul just seems to be too much of an aggressor and Karla was just supporting him with her thoughts and input. Least Paul will never be out of prison. There were a bunch of rules and restrictions placed on her, but I don't think they're enough, personally. She needs a tracking chip, or a behaviour modification chip. There's no way she should be out in general population. She's a sick woman that will never be rehabilitated - she should have been stuck in a looney bin somewhere and forgotten (or sent to live in a wooden shack in the Queen Elizabeth Islands). But that's just me. Did anyone see that interview she gave with Radio-Canada? Just the idea that they would let her try to present herself as a victim on national television makes me ill. The poor families of those girls... What's really sick is that her mother was beside her, during this interview. I don't know that my mother would stand by me (and honestly, I wouldn't want her to), if I offered my sister to my sicko husband and then killed her . An accident is something unforeseen. When you indulge in the kind of activities that Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo did you can reasonably expect something bad to happen. No accident in my opinion. Karla Homolka is one demented, worthless piece waste. I'm not excusing Paul Bernardo at all, but blood should never betray blood. I can't imagine the devestation their parents must have felt when they found out Karla was to blame for the death of Tammy. Current day Cain & Abel, except it wasn't for riches it was for kicks. Officals better keep a close eye on her. Cause if she'd do this to her younger sister, she'd do it to anyone! That is one totally screwed up bi+c#! Looked for a newspaper article that i'd read (it is out there, peeps here could find it if tried). Regarding Homolka's complaints to a pyschic (before she was caught) about voices and noises she heard emanating from her basement (where murders occurred), and what to do to eliminate those spirits...karla had to kill her victims twice.
