You might want to give XCOM Enemy Unknown a spin. Because players construct facilities, laboratories, satellites, weapons, hire new recruits, etc all the while going on missions to battle some real mean aliens in a turn based combat style. Definitely one of my favorite games atm.

can you not get a C&C emulator and?
