picture URLs

how do you tell what a picture's URL is? does it work just like every other type of URL? if you make a picture on paint, how would you give it a URL? is it automatically assigned a URL? please inform me.

To get an images URL;

In Internet Explorer;

>Right-click on the image

>Click Properties

>Highlight the address/URL

>Right-click

>Click Copy

(You now have the URL of the Image)
