Actually I met a man who was one of his speech writers.  I did mentioned how difficult it was to listen to Bush, he came across as somewhat less than average in intelligence.   The man told me that in a person to person situation he was different, just in front of a camera he did come acorss well at all.

Peace

He has a degree from Yale, an MBA from Harvard and flew f-102s.

However he talks on camera.. He is not a moron.

"I wish neither to possess, Nor to be possessed. I no longer covet paradise, more important, I no longer fear hell. The medicine for my suffering I had within me from the very beginning, but I did not take it. My ailment came from within myself, But I did not observe it until this moment. Now I see that I will never find the light.  Unless, like the candle, I am my own fuel, Consuming myself. "

I'm a night owl. And yes of course we are smarter..
that is when we have silence.. and can think and write.
That is when great ideas are born and great things are created.
