They just didn't want to give him to the "white man" because of all the injustices done to black people in the past. Nothing to do with murder, as the evidence was OVERWHELMING. He was found liable for the deaths in civil court, but has NEVER paid one cent of the money he owes the Brown and Goldman families. Money is small consolation for the murder of loved ones, but knowing that O.J. is having to pay something takes some of the bitter sting of it away. Why doesn't he just be a man, and admit that he murdered his ex-wife Nicole, and Ron Goldman? He can't be tried again. And I am soooooo glad that his deals for the book and tv show have fallen through. I've always felt he stuck by OJ due to friendship but was hoping and expecting that OJ would be convicted. I don't think they had much of a friendship after the trial. He'd rather cut a woman's throat and attack an unarmed man. It really makes me sick when he signs autographs at slasher conventions. He has no shame.
