just look at the lebanese they had exactly what we are experiencing right now, they kept fighting each other for years until they finally couldn't find a solution but to sit on one table and talk, and by fighting each other they let foreign people to middle in the affairs

what we are experincing in syria is a fitna not an issue of wrong and right, and the mentalty of making the other pay is exactly the core of a fitna,

and so the only seloution of the fitna is that some one of both side should be larger than life it should make a sacrifice and give the Conciliation the haveiest weight, the road after this will be peace after peace
i look at the situation in syria as a fitna and i'm interested in extinguishing it more than anything else

however till one point this ibn alnosser claimed that imam al askari is god
when the imam heard of this he cast him out of his teachings and care
then ibn alnosser claimed to be god him self and alawites are the followers of this person

it's no surprise in their religion where ever they rule they make hell of havok and corruption
in egypt the Famtima state was period of time where those alwites ruled egypt
and kept spreading corruptions for hunderds of years and kept presuading people to become shities
for ages .. and when saladin came finally and free egypt of them .. all egypt people rallied with him against them
coz of how much corruption they made during their rule they are no strangers to those animalstic acts they're doing here now
it's within their shameful history and they hate saladin so much
coz he was the one who put them back in their places

alawities Are NOT Muslims

edit : as for the name .. some people say Alwities are assosicated with " Ali " of islam
which some section of them and shittes also made him a god .. or thought that the angel made mistake while decnding on mohammad
and that he was meant to decend on Ali

and other people say they were named this name coz they live in hights " عالي "
which is also spelled " Ali " in arabic as " high "

personally i think they were named this coz their ugly noses always been so high on other people
and for their lack of sympathy with innocent and their animalstic cruelty
but alas for them .. they're a minority and we can only be provoked for certain time
and when we snap back at them .. there will none of them left
i doubt any one will grief for them though they left no friends to them self after their actions

those massacares of children and slit throats is done by alwities civilians called " shabeha "
a pounch of murderers who soon will meet worst death than the one they done to those innocent children and women

I really think Syria would be different even then.  Russia has staked it's claim, I believe, because of weak leadership by the US.  Putin wants very badly to hang on to a Mediterranean port at Tartus.  It's not much of a facility but it is on the Med.  He's quite the expansionist in his aspirations, I think.  And even more importantly he can see himself in Assad's shoes if the winds were to blow just right....The Russians may be feckless in many ways but they still have about 10k nuclear warheads and that'll buy some respect anytime you're willing to demand it.

Totally, because every single war in the Middle East was about oil. Libya was already exporting billions of the stuff to Europe and the US before the civil war, Iraq was about George Bush having some sort of personality complex and trying to prove something, Iran has the world's fourth largest oil reserves and the EU as well as some other Western nations have put an embargo on all oil products from Iran.

As for 1991, that was about oil. And liberating Kuwait. And if the US was so desperate for oil, they would have occupied countries like Venezuela already, which has more oil in it than Saudi Arabia.

this Phenomenon used to happen at Hafez al assad time, and it wasn't really by force they just make it like a national celebration

so things like this are being removed slowly with time,

do you remember when we used to dress army clothes when going to schools ? this was changed about 8 years ago
many things are being changed, among them is forced rallies, i don't think the majority of rallies are being "forced"
most of them are genuine, but maybe part of you is still angry at the past, didn't you used to escape rallies ?

didn't you see bashar al assad reply to this ? he said that he don't aprove people to bow down to his image
and that he himself bow down to allah so how can he accept that people bow down to his picture
and his supporters that do such things are actually hurting him not helping
