Create a country is about a user creating a country using laws etc.

The aim of the game is to make your country better than others users countries.

For example

Sure thing, since geography and creative writing is among my favorite things in terms of hobbies or interests.

I established a new independent republic known as Meravia (Meravo in its native language).

* Location: East-Central Europe (somewhere near Russia or former USSR).

* Has access to the sea, the capital and major city sits on the coast.

* Size: 67,890 square miles (unable to convert accurately in metric).

* Highest point: 9,876 feet above sea level. Lowest point: sea level.

* Population: 12,345,000 (12.3 million), primarily consists of Meravians.

* Annual Growth rate: 0.12% *Net immigration rate: 1.23% emigration: 0.1%.

* Population under age 18: 10% (decreasing). over age 65: 20% (increasing).

Meravia is considered a developed nation, although the gross national economy size should have them in the top 25 ranks in Europe (excluded in the list are Romania and Bulgaria). Meravia is a member of the council of Europe and wants to apply for EU membership as the 28th nation-state in the European Union.

Now my question is to improve my country:

How can I reduce my consumption of our limites supply of fossil fuels off the coast, while the Meravian government focuses on alternative energy production..and what can we do?

When I was a very young child, I used to pretend that part of my back yard was my own country. Maybe it was 25 square feet.

Could place a tax on companies?

For the best results in economic terms, I could keep the corporate tax rate comparably low. According to Obama on Tues.' State of the Union address speech, the USA has the world's highest corporate tax. The problem is my country of Meravo is the size of New York state and has plenty of natural resources to sustain itself. The corporate tax idea is a two-headed sword, because a lower corporate tax rate is essential for a thriving economy, and low rates compared to neighboring countries is good competition.
