I don't always agree with Beck or O'Reilly or anyone at Fox News, but I must say, their shows are always interesting to watch. MSNBC and the rest are nothing but boring echo chambers. Ratings makes something good?...MC Hammer sold over 10 million records from 1 album, but it was god awful...The Superbowl had the highest rating in television history, but not all were football fans...just watched for entertainment. He isn't really what I'd call news either. He's more akin to evangelical sensationalism. Every day he says the world is going to end. At some point, a person has to start havign doubts. (Yeah, I know that Beck claims to be a Morman, I was comparing his style, not indicating his faith). In short though, whenever I see someone touting the wonders of a plan that we have already seen fail every where that it has been implemented, or at best, fallen far short of what we already have, I have to wonder as to rather they are stupid, crazy, mis-informed or just a plain and simpe shill. I've lived long enough to see how socialism works. There's a reason that all those Russians discarded that system. That many Russians just can't be wrong. We know from history that a people can't have the lifestyle that we enjoy if the Government runs every aspect of life. We know it, we've seen it and we've seen what happens when that sort of thing is tried on a large scale. For anyone to suggest that we should do things that have already proven themselves to be unsuccessful is a sign of madness. When it comes to ObamaCare, read what I posted on it. Weren't Olbermann and Matthews their news anchors? true. Beck. like O'Reilly, are basically opinion shows. It's basically an op-ed piece in the same style as some newspapers used to do. But, on the upside, rather you agree with O'Reillys opinions or not, he has covered some interesting stories in his time and does give a pretty good idea of what the Right generally supports, although I can't say that I agree with his rationale or methods in every ocassion. Beck, on the other hand, just basically alarmist fluff. He's a little better on the radio but, the tv show is pretty much a "must-miss-this-one" kind of production. As for MSNBC, anyone that can say with a straight face that they aren't a cheap knock off of FoxNews with a leftist bend are straight up lying or flat our ignorant. FoxNews at least give Obama an attaboy from time to time. You've never heard MSNBC do that while Bush was in. If he cured cancer, they would've called him a low life for not invented the ure sooner instead of wasting all that time as a child playing in sand boxes and getting his diaper changed.
