Patient Zero Posted December 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Surgeons are more likely to leave objects, such as sponges and instruments, behind in the body after stitching up an incision, the study found. Bendy Demon Posted December 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2014 First off I would not classify this as "Medical Wackiness" but outright malpractice. I am sure that a diseased kidney would look different from the healthy one so how this could happen should, by all rights, surprise me but in this day and age I am not surprised. What sickens me is that the doctor was placed on probation for three years. Probation my swollen hinney! He should go back to med school so he can learn to tell the difference between a diseased organ and a healthy one.
