Three slashes

Last night I again had a very vivid lucid dream. This is happening a lot lately.

This time I was in some kind of big school and part of it was old and derelict. It appeared to be a school of theology where priests were trained. There was a student.. a big tall blond Aryan type - was American, but for some reason, because of his amazing theological knowledge we all called him "The Rabbi" He was like.. teachers pet, really knew lot of wisdom and things. Now.. I was part of a group of three witches, we were all not supposed to practice witchcraft.. but one of the teachers was a secret witch and she was the head of the group. She was really evil and nasty and wore red most of the time. The second was another pupil and she was a black witch, quite quiet and didn't say too much, and I was the third, I was like .. just an ordinary person, didn't wear any colours or whatever and was almost as good a student as "The Rabbi" was. Inasmuch the masters of the school made us work together.. and the exercise was REALLY odd.

We went to the derelict area of the school where there were really old decrepit rooms and some of them even had working electricity but some didn't.. the doors were practically hanging off and stripped of paint etc. So we go into one of the rooms, The Rabbi dresses in pure white and gets into this big four poster bed and he has this enormous anitque bible on his lap. I have to stand there and let people in to speak to him about religious problems and spiritual matters.. and when he needs me to I have to turn the pages of this huge bible to a passage that will echo what he is saying. Well.. I knew The Rabbi had to stay in the bed till the exercise was over..so I took the huge bible.. can't remember why but I think I was betraying him or something, and I went along the old corridor to a particular room. Inside the walls were dark red, there was a shower in a corner, the place was a mess and there was a mirror there, a sink and an old lamp giving out very little light. I waited there.

So the Rabbi finishes the exercise and immediately goes for a shower in this room and there we are the three witches. The teacher and older witch says that if we are to drink of his blood we will gain eternal life and all of our illnesses will be cured. So he's naked in the shower.. and she opens it and slashes him across the neck with her dagger.. the slash amazingly heals up.. though the man is screaming for his life. The second witch who is silent.. slashes his chest, again this heals up but he looks like he is in terrible pain.. his hands are up in self defence. I laughed to myself.. this was wierd.. why weren't their slashes having any effect. I could see there were small scars but that was it. So I though I couldn't possibly kill him.. so in accordance with what they were telling me to do I slashed him across the stomach.. this went really deep and he fell.. blood was everywhere and I had killed him. I couldn't believe it... I didn't understand why mine was the only one to kill him. I dropped my dagger and ran out of the room.

You said that you find a passage to echo what he is saying, so maybe this represents somebody who values or shares your opinions? So maybe that is why your dagger kills but not the others, like an insult from a friend would hurt more than from somebody you don't know. The shower could represent vulnerability, maybe a sensitive issue where something hurtful could be easily said?

You've got a point there Voyager10 - thanks for that. Makes you think doesn't it?
