I have studied "Sallie house" on and off for years.  I have friends (A paranormal research groups) who live nearby who have been there on a couple occassions.  I even know of one person who went in and came out claiming to be possesssed by Sallie.
Its all a scam.

So, let me see if I understand this story.  A little girl got appendicitis, died during the operation, and, apparently, was so upset about it that her ghost haunts the doctor's house, attacking or possessing whoever enters.  Man, I've heard of spoiled brats throwing major temper tantrums, but that kid's out of control!

Wow im glad my post sparked such discussion. I do know that many people believe it is a scam but when you look at the proof its hard to ignore. What proof you ask? Well i have been spending more time investigating my self and researching. I found an appealing video on youtube which i will post below and i also found a website with TONS of Sallie House info you guys can check out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFA3-SHf9oQ<--- Very interesting evidence! Robbie Thomas is the psychic trying to get the dog into the room.

http://thesalliehouse.com/<--- Website with all the info

And the reason http://thesalliehousemovie.com/ doesn't have much info is because it is about the documentary. When i said hardcore evidence, i was talking about the movie itself seems very informational.

No, no, no.  You've got it wrong.  The poor dog's not afraid of ghosts, it's afraid of psychics!

I didn't even know who Robbie Thomas was before this thread.  No, I take that back, I actually went to Youtube and entered "Most Haunted" and it brought him up.  Interesting.  At this point I am feeling a lot of things flying around me, ever so slightly and quickly brushing against my skin, and streaks of black lines shooting off very fast in front of my face, to the side, and even in peripheral.  So exciting!

You probably need to have your eyes examined, Stephen4224.  Maybe you're going blind. . . .

Atchison, Kansas is the definition of paranormal activity. I know, most people have never heard of The Sallie House and i didn't know about this little jewel hiding in my own town until recently. It has been visited by many paranormal experts like "Sightings." They have done 6 shows on the Sallie House alone. Then came other experts like Robbie Thomas (psychic from Canada) and Michael Esposito (EVP specialist). When they arrived i realized what this was all about.

The legend is that a doctor used to live there and had to do a late night surgery on a girl named Sallie. She died during the operation of a painful, horrible death because the doctor had nothing to deaden the pain. She thought she was being tortured and did not understand that he was trying to save her because her appendix was going to burst. Now no one is able to stay in that house for over 2 weeks. The owner can't keep the house rented for very long. The Pickmans lived their for around 22 weeks (longer than anybody) and Mr. Pickman was attacked numerous times. He was thrown against a wall and scratched and this was all caught on camera! Anyway, this house is very scary and i urge everyone that if they want to investigate it, to take a lot of caution.

Recently though film crews have been filming at the house again. I have noticed this because i live 2 blocks from the house and walk by frequently. Appearntly this new documenty on the house has created a lot of controvercy in our little town. I dont find anything wrong with it though, they are just trying to document the story. I found their website and it is very interesting, they have real attacks on film and use hardcore proof that their is something in that house.

Here's the site http://thesalliehousemovie.com/ <--- Go and check it out it is very interesting!

the fact that you only have 2 posts and they're both on this topic, plus the fact that you have a lot of this info on this topic makes me believe that you work with the people making the movie and that's why you defend it so much, you created this topic to let everyone know of the movie and the house, nice trick, i must say it worked because i would watch that movie

Any place that calls itself "The Most Haunted House in___" (fill in the blanks of it's location) automatically makes me suspiscious. To me it is creating a brand, and it is all part of the marketing. Then you find out they are making a movie on it, and you realize they have a lot at stake in making sure it stays 'Most Haunted'.

After Amityville, people realized what a goldmine having a good story and a creepy house can be.

If you can't get a movie out of it, you can always charge admission.

Of course I have never been inside so any opinions is based on past 'famous haunted houses'.

If anybody has capture anything remotely of interest themselves (not other people's findings) I would be interested in looking though.

Think you're possessed? I recommend eating right, drinking lots of fluids, and getting plenty of exorcism.

Think what you want. I don't personally care. You have your opinion and I disagree. It is a very touchy subject for me. If you want proof that something is in the house you can listen to the EVP I have already posted, but you probably wouldn't believe those either.

I'll go look for the EVP, so what happened while you were there? Why is it a "touchy" subject?
Sorry, I'm a newb and must have missed previous posts. I am very interested in your experiences in the house and why you have come to the conclusion that it is haunted.
