Feel better soon Jon. Change of weather can do that. 17 tonight and the mid to upper 60s predicted here for Wednesday and Thursday. I'll have to see that to believe it.

Hope you feel better soon Jon. I've been having kidney issues again and about 4 hours of sleep in the last two days, so here's hoping the Vicodin they gave me helps.

It's actually supposed to be in the 50's next week. I'm excited.

Thanks K, same here, hope you'll feel better soon. By the way how is your friend, the one who recently lost her mother ?? Is she feeling better ?? We hope so.

The weather here is great, only 15 today but we are expecting 45 for wednesday.

Anybody know if Dosojin went on his big trip ??

I hope Lynn will give us news very soon, we all miss her. ( well I can't blame her, UM is so boring lately )

She's doing well actually, thanks for asking. I hadn't heard from her in a while but she called this morning and we talked for an hour, she seemed in good spirits.

It's 60 in some parts of the states today, so this is promising.

I'm worried about Pers, I hope he's okay.

Hi all!

Sorry for disappearing...I've been extremely busy with work - that's all. I was about to say nothing exciting to report, but then I realized that I DO have something exciting to report.  My mom is a doll collector and has a collection of over 1,000 character type dolls. Everything from KISS to Star Trek and Star Wars and Welcome Back Kotter (LOL, you guys probably don't even know what that is!) Anyway, she left me all these "very urgent" "extremely urgent" etc. messages on my mobile one day and I thought for sure that someone had broken into her house or someone had died. When I called her, I asked what the problem was and she started by saying "I was watching Good Morning America and...." at which point I started laughing hysterically. "THAT's what's so urgent??" Well, it turns out that they had a segment about doll collectors and auctions and my mom asked me to get in touch with this guy that buys/auctions collections. Her collection is worth probably $100k! As if that wasn't exciting enough, this guy is doing a show on the Travel Channel and they want to do two shows based on my mom's collection! The guy is a real talker, so we weren't sure if he was for real or not, but when the people from the Travel Channel called me today - it seems like it's really going to happen. I'm gonna be on tv!! Which means I have to kick my gym regimen into high gear! :-)

I wouldn't worry too much about Persia, he's probably vacationing in the Greek Islands or somewhere exotic. Or, maybe he went to Iran to vote in their elections?

It was very cold here today but supposed to be nearly 70 on Thursday. Woohoo! But all the plants are very confused.

Jon- Good to hear you're feeling better. My week is going well but looking forward to the weekend as usual. Have a great week.
K- Hope you feel better soon. Kick back a little and take care of yourself. Hope the painkillers are working and you're able to get some rest. That's important.
That is exciting news archernyc. Make sure you let us know when it will be on. I remember Welcome Back Kotter and those Star Trek and Star Wars figurines are worth quite a bit of money. I think most of the models that came out after Star Wars was first released are pretty valuable now. My oldest son had the Millieum Falcon toy. Wish I would have held on to it. The weather is supposed to be beautiful but some showers on Friday morning. All the daffodils are up and I've seen some blooming already. Soon the tulips and the azaleas. Looks like some of the trees are starting to bud. We turn the clocks ahead on Saturday already. I'll have jet lag for a week until I catch up with myself. Messes up the internal clock.
I was wondering too if Persia went back to Iran with all that's going on. I kind of hope not but he'll keep himself safe if something would happen. He should have a lot to tell us when he gets back if that's the case.

I forgot to include that I hope everyone is feeling better by now.  This time of year is rough on the health - the weather fluctuations seem to cause a lot of problems. And, I don't know about you guys, but everyone in my office has spring fever.

It's a new show called Toy Hunters. They've had one episode on so far that was to gauge interest. The show had very high ratings so they're going to make more. The producer emailed me this morning to say that they couldn't reimburse me for travel expenses so it will be just my mom (they're on a tight budget at this point). I'll keep you guys posted as to when the show is supposed to air.

It's a gorgeous day here. Sunny and 50 degrees, so here's hoping it stays like that and we don't get a blizzard in May. Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

So I'm going to Haute-Ville tonight, there's a few party all over le vieux Quebec, should be fun. I'm meeting my two college pals J-N and Nicolas; I'm trying to call Annabelle too, been a while since I last saw her.

Only time I left my place all week was to buy groceries, it was about time I do something.
