Stephen Colbert,

I wanted to put this out there to tell you how sorry I am for the your loss of your mother. Your heartfelt words and genuine love for your mother shined through tonight in your opening speech. We know the comedic side of you towards politics and the way this country is run, but we rarely get to see you. Thank you for being the true person we know you are beyond the character you play on tv. Our love and prayers go out to you and your family.
