So now you're saying that a style that hasn't been emulated around the world (possibly because it was a bit of a bodge) is more significant than one that has? So doesn't that suggest that the ETs' help to the Incas and all that crowd was even more pointless, then? Was any of what they did for them any use at all really?

The Romans were a lot smarter than the Incas, and that without the help of 'aliens'.

They invented concrete no alien ever thought of.

Many of their buildings are still standing all over the Med and the Middle East and Europe.

The real question here is not, "Can we do it?", but are we willing to spend that much time and energy using primitive tools.

We are not willing to do that nowadays.

But being lashed or your loved ones being threatened might change your mind.

And the Incas were no puss_ies either.

Not that the Parthenon was a bodge; it doesn't present a technical mystery.  People have done it a lot since ancient Greece.  However no one has replicated the Cuzco walls.

Surely you can appreciate that?

That sounds very convenient and I would have to disagree.

There has been more gnashing of teeth over ancient skills and the AA hypothesis than probably religion itself.

Any opportunity to bury it would have been taken by now.  Yet no one is able to do it.  Yet people have tried and vigorously so.

Yet we can do it all today.  Look at the White House.  Pillar constructions are every where.    I repeat there is no megalithic precision in granite.

No where do we see relics like PP built without machine tools.  That's the problem.

Until someone replicates it with stone age tools then ancient aliens are here to stay I'm afraid.
