Huge orange light in 1999 that was seen...

I was wondering if anyone recalls on the news about that light that was seen across 3 states.The only news footage I saw was from a store security camera.It was like a really fast light.Dose any know where I can look that up at?

Hi! Still a little new to this forum, but...

I don't remember what year it was, it could have been 1999, I saw an orange light shooting through the sky. I was driving...it was NOT a deserted road, there were cars behind me but none in front. The area was well lit, but there were some trees surrounding the houses. I saw it come from the right...it swooped low over my car and then disappeared into someones back yard. I can't even speculate on the dimensions. You said it was in three states....which three? I live on the east coast, was it there? Just curious....
