Chop Top Posted May 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2004 Okay, I'm pretty skeptical of most sightings, but I do believe in ghosts and other paranormal activity. I normally drive a certain way, every day. But, for whatever reason, I took another route the other day. My wife and I were going to see Van Helsing when I saw a guy walking down the street. This was in an area where a kid from a local high school took a turn too fast and ended up getting killed. There's also a small graveyard there as well. I started to swerve so I wouldn't hit the guy. Suddenly, as I get closer to him, he's not there anymore. He disappeared right in front of me. I look up in my rear view mirror to see where he went, and nothing. I looked over to my wife and asked "Did you see that?" and she looks over at me kind of funny and said, "No, what?" I thought I was losing my mind. Told her about what I saw. I had to drive this way again two nights ago on the way home from work. There was an accident on my normal way home and I went slow to see if I could see it again, but there was nothing there this time. Just thought I'd share it with some of you for your opinions. Chop Top Posted May 28, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 28, 2004 (edited) I don't think I was driving all that fast. It's a really sharp curve and I know better than to fly down that road. I was off in La la land watching the trees pass us. I remember looking over at him to see why he had swerved. I thought he had seen a dog or something in the roadway...
