DC09 Posted May 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2004 WASHINGTON (AFP) - A US couple, already the parents of three-year-old twins, have now welcomed sextuplets into their family after the husband encouraged his wife to have "one more" child, it was reported. Kate Gosselin, 29, told NBC television she was stunned when she learned just how large her family was becoming, after husband Jonathan Gosselin, 27, suggested she might have "just one more." Though Mom is ready to return home, the babies will remain in hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania for about six weeks to two months. Kate Gosselin told NBC's "Today" show that members of their church were signing up to help out with feeding and diapering shifts. On Thursday, three of six cribs donated by Delta Manufacturing were delivered to the church. Other companies have donated car seats, high chairs, engraved spoons, clothing and gift cards for diapers and food, Harrisburg's Patriot-News reported. A pair of prototype triplet strollers are on the way, and the Gosselins will have their own parking space at the supermarket where they shop, the paper added.
