Subject: School Bus Hit by Flying Fish?
When retired Damariscotta Police Chief and current Great Salt Bay School bus driver George Hutchings told GSB bus supervisor Gary Michaud that his bus had been in an accident with flying fish in Damariscotta Mills on Nov. 14, Michaud’s answer was an expected, “Sure you were.” Then Hutchings showed him the hood of his bus, decorated with 18 small alewives.
