Chemistry? Like...Chemical Romance? Sorry, I just wanted to point out My Chemical Romance.

But really, I think the term "chemical romance" should be used when someone has a drug addiction. You love it because the chemicals warp up your mind into loving and becoming addicted to it.

Back to the subject, there is someone I can't get out of my mind, Leslie Gutierrez, the most beautiful woman in the world. I don't think anyone should think that there actually is chemistry behind love, love just...is. And thats that

Yeah. I can't get the guy I'm in love with. Out of my mind. It's crazy.

I suppose this is it --> Click

So good, yet bad at the same time.

If there's a way to be rid of it, I wish someone would reveal it. I've thought of my poor Richard for years now... That dull ache always comes when I remember him. It's not constant, of course, but the same feeling is there whenever I think of him, even though I know he's gone... That longing, missing, loving thing... I can never be fully sad, but there's always a tinge of it in my smile when his memory comes to mind.

I believe it's called "love at first sight" :)

I don't think mine can be related to love at first sight. He always used to tease that we were "split aparts". We finished each other's sentences and sometimes didn't have to talk at all to have conversation... to say that I don't mean that we used mental abilities or anything...but we could look at each other and tell what one was thinking in a way of just knowing kind of, and we'd know the other's response before it had to be spoken. We weren't together that long before his death. I could say honestly though that until we shared a private joke one day it was just an ordinary met-a-new-friend thing.

there is some kind of chemistry behind it, of course... but you can never tell WHY it happens, why to that person, and this is a mysterious part.

Pleasure, whether mental or physical, releases endorphins or seretonin or one of those nice internal chemicals we have. Our body supplies our own feel-good drugs, and pleasure drives us to repeat it... thus, you think about him all the time.

I could be completely wrong here. ;)

yeah, I agree with that. and i've definitely had that before. A quick passing or maybe a girl cashing me out at the corner store or something. might have an interesting exchange of words and exchange smiles and then i'm off and it's hard not to think about. you never know who's coming around the corner ahead of you...

but while this still happens to me to some degree, i'm with a girl who i love very much and when i'm with her it's hard not to just feel so lucky to spend so much time with her. and that erases any memories of those encounters that i might have had. it's not like they ever really matter, but it doesn't happen incredibly often so it makes it that much better when it does.

and on that note, how good is it to know that someone like that works at a certain gas station or store? i've gone out of my way before to stop at a store like that for my cigarettes or a dutch just in the hope that the girl i've seen there is working so i can see her again. it makes the day interesting :)

It is a chemical addiction. Pheremones produced by somepeople can be quite intoxicating. I don't know why. I always thought there where reasons for things but I am not entirely sure anymore.

How do you get them off your mind? Work, excercise, hobby's? They work for a time but some how some people just seem to always be there.

I try to think of it in a scientific sence, as in, just a chemical addiction brought on by the fact that he smells good to me.

I am going to write a book on the subject and call it "I'm not in love, I'm just ovulating."

Hope that was helpfull.

LOL, my sis and I say that all the time, when we see guy after guy that catches our eyes, we say we are ovulating. Maybe we're just warped, but we find it hilarious.

I agree with that. At Uni we watched a video about what attracts males and females to one another. They put the underwear of 6 different males into separate jars, doing the same with 6 different women. They then had the women sniff in each of the jars containing male underwear, and the men to do the same to the jars containing female underwear, and 'rate' the smells by which smells the best to the worst. When they compared the results, they found that a female who rated a particular male as the best smell, was also rated the best smell to that male. They also did blood tests, comparing their genetic make-up, and found that if that particular male and female were to reproduce, their kids would be relatively healthy and have no inherent diseases or problems as far as they could see. The assumption made was that males and females are attracted to each other based on their compatibility in producing healthy kids. I thought that was interesting.

If you want to get someone off your mind simply do the following

Jump as high as you can and at the same time try and kick really high while throwing your head down as fast as you can

and make sure your head connects with your knee then fall flat on your back.

if that does not make you forget that person than it will just hurt like hell

if that is the case make sure you repeat.
