Ryinrea Posted February 1, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) It's usually people who are in power, so to speak. However, the democrats are fighting against Corporate America, so they made a bad choice in giving to them. Let me guess the statistical answer is something you got from fox news? This man is more factual than any other news media in the corporate media, and he an non biased thought to it.. Ignus Fatuus Posted February 1, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) no the democrats are fighting against the corporate america that doesn't back them and their agenda. Almost the exact answer that I was going to reply ... Still causes me illness to call them democrats!!! These dem's are not the democrats of my grandparents, my parents and my family ... and myself!!! I do not know what to call them besides ... phony. Also funny how you "tuned into" Fox News for your answer Ryinrea ... some of us "democrats" can think for ourselves and need no ... "NO" news source to tell us that something just does not connect. ninjadude Posted February 2, 2010 #9 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Brown. A man that posed nude for a trash magazine. There's a real good thing to celebrate and elect. What are these people, on drugs?

So wining is the only thing that's important, not his character of pimping himself out to nudie mags. Is that what you're trying to say? Interesting that you are revoking everything the Repubs "claimed" they stood for in a candidate. The irony is thick.

Pseudo Intellectual Posted February 2, 2010 #14 Share Posted February 2, 2010 I couldn't care less who Brown is personally. His win put a halt to socialized medicine ObamaCare the disastrous health care bill Congress is trying to shove down everybody's throat, and that's all that matters to me. I heard he was more liberal than Scozzafava! Not exactly my favorite politician.

Homer Posted February 2, 2010 #16 Share Posted February 2, 2010 However, the democrats are fighting against Corporate America... I’m not going to comment on Foxnews or Mr. Brown, but its funny how there always has to be a ‘bad guy’ in politics. In general, Republicans/Conservatives are more pro-Corporate America/business and Democrats/Liberals are more pro-employee/union. Corporate America and business both large and small are what create jobs, which in turn creates growth and prosperity. There are greater risks and rewards and less intervention from government/union/bureaucracy. Unions slow(and sometimes actually prevent) job creation and growth by attempting to seize all profits for its Union Members’ benefits, and is more bureaucratic and focused on wealth distribution. This is intentionally simplified, yet it truthfully illustrates why Corporate America tends to lean towards Republicans and Union’s lean toward Democrats. ninjadude Posted February 3, 2010 #17 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Its the economy stupid. And no one died, right? So you still can't get your mind around this. Repubs claimed for years that elections were about character. You now elect a guy who posed for a nudie mag. And you're response is it's about the economy and no one died? You are a troll. His win put a halt to the disastrous health care bill Congress is trying to shove down everybody's throat, You don't care about him personally?! You're the same as Aroces. It's all about wining. You could care less if you elected Hitler, is that it? Because that's what you just said. And Health Care Reform WILL happen. It was passed by both houses of Congress. It is not being shoved down anyone's throat. It was debated and investigated and read for months if not years. In this country the majority in Congress gets to pass laws. Pseudo Intellectual Posted February 3, 2010 #19 Share Posted February 3, 2010 The guy's a liberal, and Democrats, Independents and Republicans voted for him. The only reason I (and maybe Aroces, but I don't speak for him) puts up with him is because he's the 41st vote. That's it. We don't support him. Come election time, we'll probably try to replace him with a conservative.

ninjadude Posted February 3, 2010 #23 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Yes, winning against those on the march for a United Socialist of America. Do you realize you just agreed to not caring about electing Hitler as long as it opposes the Democrats? You're a real piece of work. And you claim to be an American? I mean really. IF you don't care about who gets elected you are among those who clearly hate America and what it stands for. I'm amazed you agreed with this. But you're showing your true colors. ninjadude Posted February 5, 2010 #25 Share Posted February 5, 2010 LOL, bitterness is a ugly thing ninja No I'm not bitter. I am really and truly amazed that someone who for YEARS claimed the moral high ground of character, would now claim that WINNING (in the Brown election) is everything and that it does not matter one whit ANYTHING about who they are. Just astounding. Speachless. Not bitter. I'm bitter about the 2000 presidential election. Not the Brown election. I'm just, I can't find the words to describe my befuddlement at you guys saying WINNING is everything no matter who. Do you really realize what that says about you? I guess that's why so many people like Palin despite her being a complete lunatic.
