I love watching him. He's always so relaxed and into it, and makes it look so easy and effortless. Happy Birthday Mr. Ross.

My sisters and I would watch this because we thought he was funny. We would always wait for him to say "happy little tree" and "in your world". But our favorite thing was the inevitable point in every episode where he would have to dry his brush after wetting it by shaking and knocking it it against the side of the easel. He would laugh after doing this every single time, and then we would too. He was such a fun person to watch paint, and while we often laughed at him, we knew he was great.

thanks for posting. i like to do some painting also.

there was something about this guys cool manner that got me wondering.. is he keen on jesus? so i googled him. (i googled some painter and i liked it)

apparently he was associated with the mormon sect.

I never knew he was a Mormon . He was awesome . Funny story only . My mom and I used to watch him together . He just made stuff come to life ,in the simplest ways .
