Blunder as Borat's mock national anthem is

It seems the nightmare of Borat has come back to haunt Kazakhstan.

The Asian country was outraged by the Sacha Baron Cohen-inspired film of 2006 Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and banned it from being shown in their county.

But now, incredible footage from a medal ceremony in Kuwait has shown Borat's satirical version of the National Anthem played out INSTEAD of the genuine one.

How does that happen? I was ticked off yesterday when they screwed up the US National Anthem before the Pens/Sens game. While I do find it funny (in both cases) I just can't see how something like that can happen.

I remember a baseball game where the Canadian flag was mistakenly displayed upside down by some idiot at a stadium in the US and the next game the American flag was treated likewise in Toronto....made quite a stir.

That's a pretty big goof.

If it's a genuine mistake though I would hope people could laugh at it rather than feel a need to fire the person.

That said though, I could understand why it would get someone fired.

My thoughts exactly. It was probably only a careless mistake but she'll remember it everytime she tries to bask in the joy of that accomplishment.
