Weapon Collectors?

Mad Manfred

Recommended Posts

I'm a big medieval weaponry collector...I have three decorative swords (though are very life-like), one is a b****** Sword, another is the Conan the Barbarian Sword and the last is a Sorcerer Sword (much like Gandalf's in LOTR).

I also have an alleged 14th century used mace, a near perfect replica Bat Axe and the Blade Baton's that Kroenen used in Hellboy.

Any other bladed weapon collectors out there?

Collecting weapons isn't really the way to go. sad.gif Stick with one weapon you are proud of and skilled with so it can come into some use. Collecting replica weaponry is a waste of time and money, especially when you start collecting weapons from aweful movies like hellboy. For 10 useless replica weapons you could probably get one good custom forged weapon which defines you.

This hobby only works out if your a rich fool with no care for the rest of humanity.

I like my katana. its not much to look at, but serviceable. and my bo. Long and perfectly weighted, just right for me! not bladed, but what can I say? I collect guns.

That's your choice...it's one of my hobbies and I enjoy it.

I have. I've trained for a few years with my axe and are beginning to learn different sword maneuvers.

As I said above, I enjoy it. Therefore it is not a waste of money. Who are you to say that it is?

especially when you start collecting weapons from aweful movies like hellboy.

I thought it was a great movie. Besides, the Kroenin blades really don't have much to do with whether the movie was bad or not.

I don't want a custom weapon...I like the ones I have original.gif

I'm neither rich or a fool. And what does humanity have to do with my collection of weapons?

You come off very bitter in this post...the only logical reason I can think of is that you're jealous. Not of my particular hobby, but because there are others more fortunate than yourself out there?

I collect guns.

What kind? I'm trying to get ahold of some civil war replicas from Germany myself.

u should post pics of urs if u can take em.

I'll see if I can get a few pics up later...I drained the battery on my digital camera earlier.

Sorry, I told you that as a former weapon collector who saw the wrongs of the hobby and quit. I did not mean any offence... tongue.gif

My dad and collect rifles and shotguns. My first gun was a .22 rifle with a scope owned by my great grandpa. In addition to the guns my dad owns, I have a .50 muzzle loader, my grandpa's .22 and a another .22 with a spring loaded clip that holds 50 rounds. The only bummer about that .22 is that it takes ten times as long to load the clip than it does to discharge all the rounds. laugh.gif

I also like archery but I am not very good at it.
