Dreaming about being attacked by a Ghost

ok, here goes.....

Last night I had the most bizzare dream, ever.

I dreamt I was in bed, my fiance was asleep next to me on my right hand side. In my dream, I was just starting to doze off when I could feel someone/thing tugging the duvet off of the bed. Then a hand grabbed the top of my left arm and held me down, with my other arm I started hitting my fiance to wake him up, but he was out cold.

Another hand grabbed my right arm and held that down as well, so I was pinned to the bed, I could feel its fingers really digging into my arms and I started to panic.

I was screaming and thrashing about and wracking my brains about what to do. I then remembered something, that I think I must have read somewhere, sometime, so I shouted out 'IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, SON OF GOD, SAY YOUR NAME!!'

At this point I woke up, and sat up in bed with the top of both arms throbbing.

I then lay back down and went back to sleep.

I have never had such a vivid dream before and when I thought about it this morning, it kind of freaked me out as I now have 2 red marks on the top of my arms which is a little weird. At first I thought it might have been my pj top but it has long sleeves and cannot be pulled up the arm as far as the marks.

I would be interested to know what you think....

Sounds like a Night Mare. My grandma used to have 'em all the time. It's very interesting, but I don't exactly recall what they are. It's a form of sleep paralisis (sp?) and that's all I remember. It might help you to research Night Mare's, I know it reassured my grandma that nothing had physically been done to her. Good luck, and take care.

Yeah .. sounds like a nightmare...unless you really weren't asleep and it really happened?

Dunno....

I dont' generally have nightmares about stuff like that... I usually dream about every day stuff ... stuff that is scary to me like checking my bank account and not having any money!! Now that's a nightmare!1

I'm sure it was just a nightmare, I haven't had one for years and it just seemed so real at the time and the marks on my arms this morning did freak me out a bit.

I called my fiance this afternoon and asked him if I had been thrashing about in bed, but he said he hadn't noticed (typical bloke!), so I'm sure I was only dreaming.

Well I hope I sleep better tonight, I'm totally shattered.

I had a dream about a wolf that bite me the left arm and the morning when i woke up, i had trace of the bite like some animal bite me for real ! I read somewhere that when you are dreaming your body can make such things like living markes where you where attac.
