Look closely at this image from Curiosity

Zeta Reticulum

Recommended Posts

This image was recently sent back. I cannot find any reference as to what it is. It looks like the dirt has been compressed by a plate or wheel of some sort. Is it from an indentation off Curiosity? or is it some "native Mars indentation"?

It's an impression from the APEX on Curiosity.
