Wow,amazing .Rainbow were incredible .I saw them,their first headlining tour.They didn't have the rainbow yet ,as I do not remember it ,at all .

I saw Deep Purple many years ago, and their backup band was a band called Elf, with Ronny James Dio on vocals.

Saw Mark III DP in 74, Rainbow in 82 or 83. Reunited Mk II Purple in 85 twice. MKII was my "Holy Grail."
