Hands down Xenogears. Not that Xenosaga crap that butchered the series.

Right! That was the longest RPG ever, but every second of those 2 dics was worth it! :tu:

I guess my next favorite would be Batman: Arkham Asylum. Arkham City will probably top it though.

Deus Ex, the original. That was just fantastic.

The new prequel isnt half bad either ;)

Counter Strike was the best game ever made until they took out bunny hopping and quick switching from scoped weapons. I'd say these days the Uncharted Series are some of the best games made.

I don't play games for the most part. BUT in a few days I"m getting my CD's for Guild Wars 2 and will be alpha/beta testing it. I've sent all the NDA info in and the disc is in the mail! I actually saw it in action a few months ago at the ArenaNET/NCSoft studios, it's pretty freakin' spectacular.

I would say Metal Gear Solid is my favourite video game series by far. Will never forget the first time i played the first one through. Still like the classics too like super mario world, Legend of zelda and many more.

Just finished Dead Island, Thought it was pretty cool, Awesome melee combat. Story was a bit low but real fun game.

So many games..!

I keep coming back to Railroads tycoon 2. Can't get it any more in Australia, even through Steam, which really sucks.

Total War Series. My fave so far is rome and Medieval. haven't played the new Shogun.

Civs. Especially #4. Something about that religious thing and the never-ending re-invention of strategic styles.

Age of Wonders.

Recently I have been playing a free-to-play on Steam called Iron Grip, and it's pretty cool. Reminds me of the first Warhammer, turn-based games of the 90's.

Simcity is ok for a God builder fix. Wish they'd make a new one. Needs an update. Didn't really get in to CitiesXL.

i also like a good solo FPS. A good FPS hits me in a different way to other genres. It gets me like a movie. So I even consider the FPS gaming experience something altogether different.

Bioshock 1&2

Call of juarez - a very underrated game, especially the first one, for the narrative.

FEAR - i loved fear. I still love it. had many epic moments in that game.

Red faction. Didn't play much of the 2nd, but loved the 1st back in the day, and when Guerilla came out it BLEW MY FREAKIN MIND! I could roam around and smash stuff all day!

Riddick - half way through the 2nd. LOVED the first, because Pitch black was so good, and the Chronicles movie sucked so hard, it was awesome to have the franchise resurrected with respect in the games. Vin Diesel had a lot to do with the game's narrative integrity. Awesome!

L4D - the ultimate smash-and-grab multi shoot em up experience. forged many a solid friendship with strangers on this game!

So many on this list I can't even remember them all.

Then there's the timeless classics -

Sid's PIRATES! GOLD on the C64. the remake was ok, but man, the Pirate genre, as defined by this game, seriously needs a reboot.

MarioKart on SuperNintendo. It was the ultimate. I hated all the other "updates." MK on SN may have been clunky, but it worked really well and when you had a good opponent the VS battles went for HOURS.

Currently I am deeply involved in Minecraft. Serious addiction issues there.

What's missing from my collection that I really want to have are racing and fighting games.
