NASA's Edgar Mitchell "Aliens Exist & Government Cover Up is Real"

Fox News: Edgar Mitchell tells FOX News he knows people who were involved in the Roswell incident and knows for a fact that aliens are real and there is a government cover up.

I've read one of Edgar Mitchell's books, and found it most interesting.  I also support his Noetic Society.

He is obviously correct that the government covers up the UFO phenomenon.  We can only speculate as to why it does so.

Nice information; will it make any difference to the status quo I wonder?

Basically, this is Dr. Mitchell's personal opinion. Dr. Mitchell could be right...he could also be wrong. Unless and until there's some type of irrefutable evidence that can be shown publically it all comes back to ones personal belief.

........belief supported by thousands of testimonies from all over the world by people of different ages ranging from children, to objective professionals, in some cases video or photographic evidence as well as trace evidence on the ground and physical burns to the body of the victims............

Personally I think he's right, despite the relative absence of physical evidence, at least in the public domain.

I am very confident about the UFO evidence that we have, and all the cases of unexlained and unidentified objects flying around (or sailing around in the oceans) that have very unconventional characteristics that are far more advanced than anything on eath.

We could probably sit here forever, posting dozens and hundreds of UFO cases that have never been explained.

We are very good on "what", "when" and "where" on the subject of UFOs, but not very good on "who" and "why".  What is their mission here?  What is their purpose?  Who is the intelligence behind them?  Is it from another planet, another time, another dimension, etc, etc, etc?  Does anyone know the answers to these questions?

No, we just don't have good grasp of the "why" of it all, at least I don't.  About that, I'm only guessing, and until "they" reveal themselves in a more open way that's all I'll ever be able to do.

Excellent responses that neither I , or anyone else could improve upon! :tu:

But I will add that old chestnut that the lack of good solid empirical evidence in the public domain is by no means evidence of absence!...And I am of the firm belief that the only thing preventing me from examining this evidence is a lack of certain security clearances!

Cheers.

I think you're right about that, too, if we can believe the testimony of Dr. Robert Sarbacher, Dr. Eric Walker and some other big noises in the military and scientific intelligence communities back in the 1940s and 1950s.  I think that the evidence the gave to researchers was probably about the closest we have ever come to "the Truth", the Big Picture, in the midst of all the rumors, specualtion, dead ends and disinformation.

Those guys did have the security clearances to find out about the Big Secret, and late in life they provided some hints about what it was.

Probably not.

For whatever reason, some folks are just happier if they convince themselves that we're the only ones here.

I wish Disclosure would just happen already so that people like these Fox talking heads would stop their smirking.

Exactly what I was thinking. They basically were criticizing the man. Have they walked on the moon?

Does walking on the moon give someone any special insight into the existence of aliens? Personally I don't think so. Saying Edgar Mitchell knows about aliens because he walked on the moon or was a part of NASA is an appeal to authority when the very authority is questionable.

I was speaking of the lack of respect. Not the alien part. lol
