Fox News caught red-handed (again) doctoring

As the folks over at Think Progress note, Fox News's Gregg Jarrett today used old stock footage of a McCain-Palin rally from last year to illustrate how Sarah Palin is "continuing to draw huge crowds" during her book tour.He was apparently not tipped off by the McCain campaign "Country First" sign in one of the shots, nor did he wonder why Palin would be using a teleprompter to plug her book.

Man, they need to stop with the doctoring.

Only cause republicans are not in power. CNN was just as bad during Bush's years. They are in on it together, a tool used to make sure either a republican, or a Democrate are the only possible solutions. Its like the WWE. Its all BS.

No they weren't. Rush Limbaugh would have caught it.

I think this juggling of video tape is a new thing with Fox. I wonder if they've got someone new on the staff or something. They need to stop it because fact-check people monitor these things with a fine tooth comb.

WWE is right however given that the op is about Palin and Fox is in love with Palin we can see the deception very very clear in this case. What can Fox do lol all they have is Palin and Chenny to go with. Talk about a pickle for Fox lol

And I thank God for it. The GOP doesnt have a chance in the next presidencial election. At least not the way they have been going.

Wrong. I used to listen to Rush all the time because he was funny. He got carried away with himself and stopped being entertaining. I listen to lots of Conservative commentary. I just don't go for people who are anti-science religious extremists or bigots. These people are like the worst aspect of the Middle Ages revisited and the Republican Party needs to take it's party back.

I find it hard to trust most even if they claim to share my same views. Guys like Glen and Rush. It seems to me they are just there to lead the masses to the next puppet, once the people get sick of the Dems. Its a vicious cycle.

Thats why I have raised a eye brow when Glen said we should abandon the GOP and start a third party. I want to believe him. But I still think he's there to keep the same people in charge, the Bank.

They may have use some old clippings, but I didn't see anything that tried to interpret a huge crowd really.

They did AROCES. To me, the most obvious recent example was on Hannity's show (I think it was last week end) when he substituted a clip of a much larger rally while discussing a rally that had happened that day. I live 20 miles from Washington D.C. We don't have green leaves on our trees any more. It's late fall here. Half of the trees are bare and the others are yellow and red. Hannity admitted that he did it (see the link below)

I love it when media people screw up. Movie blooper films crack me up too.

To me he's gotten more strident in recent years-- so much so I no longer listen. Back in the day he used to play songs with altered lyrics to mock out the political correcties. It was HILARIOUS.

I think you've got a point here. Back when I liked Rush the Political Correctness movement was just over-running everything. Listening to Rush was such a relief. Back then his message was, "PC people, shut up". Now his message is, "the Left is bad, the Right is good".

Ya all the big news agency's have vested interests in who is the leader or who is in government for that matter. Damn news agency's sorta have control over government as they can make or break someone. Each news outlet may have different players in there pockets but they all have an agenda no doubt about it. Makes it tricky to sort out the BS.

Wasn't msnbc just caught using doctored Palin photos?

Ya, with the bikini. That wasn't even using real footage to mislead. They used an outright internet fake. These stations are making complete fools of themselves. I understand that there is always deception by the media, but it seems more outrageous as of late. I've even caught some of these things before the stories get aired just in casually watching.

I've believed all along that Glen Beck is a fake. He followed Bush like a lap dog and then when Obama was elected, he turned into the watery eyed moron calling for third parties and taking Libertarian stands. Where was he during the '08 election? He certainly didn't endorse any third parties when it would've mattered. Quite frankly, if he is sincere, unlikely as it seems to me, then he's simply an idiot.
