I don’t pay any attention to the Mayan calendar and long count and even less so to these theories about Nibiru. It would be nice though to see Nibiru (which I doubt exists) before we’re all annihilated.

And to me the whole humanity having a spiritual awakening is laughable as we’re (some of us) just semi civilised animals. Seriously humanity has produced some fine minds and few good people (none now) but the vast majority of us (and I include myself in this) are just rotting meat.

However I don’t think we’ll get off that easily I do see events happening in the next few years which I believe have been carefully planned and orchestrated by the collapse of the world banking system.

I’m from the hypocrisy centre of the universe called Britain and I can see some major social unrest that’s been gradually building up for years. Firstly cuts are being made to public services which are an assault on the poor and the country is overpopulated with a large number of legal and illegal immigrants. I think all this has been done on purpose by the bankers (illumanit whoever the people who run the show we can’t really be that naïve in thinking they don’t exist?),

Also with overpopulation and food shortages likely in the next fifty years hopefully humanities days are numbered.

I often say I don’t believe in aliens but I know they exist. But I don’t think there here to help us (why would they) if they have been here in the past or at present it’s been on their terms and covertly.

I don't think we have much time left here on this planet (I guess we're not doing it right), but certainly 2012 is just speculation and it doesn't make any sense at all...same goes for nibiru. I also doubt there are such secret societies planning the human race's future. People are too worried about themselves to start planning anything like that, they want money, power and everything they could get, but in the end no one gets anything because everyone dies (that's the only certainty in our lives isn't it?).

Apart from the fact that similar cuts are happening all over Europe? Its called debt dear.

We would be lucky to get to 2050 without WWIII. That could be sooner or later but will probably be the catalyst for further restructuring of the financial system. If you believe what is written on the net that would involve removal of proprietary rights and a whole heap of trouble. We may have to survive famine, bird flu while we are being slowly poisoned by trace metals in food stuffs, excess flurodie in water and reruns of Friends.

The issue is whether enough people can put that aside and establish a credible alternative that can begin the much needed change. I dunno about Nibiru but I think Mcrom is on to something with the vibrations. Subtle changes can effect us in profound ways.

For pure entertainment value I hope Project Bluebeam is real. Also, the next generation of satelites goes live on the 22/12/2012. It is called Swansat. Check it out, I was never really sure if it was genuine but it does appear so. It conceivably allow images to be projected directly into the brain through EM waves.

I also always keep my crossbow handy in case we get a case of zombie fever.

2012 really exasperates me anymore. I really am convinced nothing of any consequence will happen. I have come to believe, however, if anything does occur, it won't be due to aliens, or the mayan calendar, or Nibiru, or solar flares...it will be by people acting crazy because the doomsday date has arrived and they start shooting, looting, or god knows what else. I think the only REAL danger in 2012 is the frenzy that many authors, so-called "experts" and the media are generating that could be released in a mass panic even if nothing tangible is occuring. People are using the fear of this date to turn themselves a profit and in the end could be creating a kind of "Anxiety Hand Grenade" set to go off in the days leading up to the much hyped Dec.21. If I think we should be afraid of anything on that date, it is those with fragile minds

Yeah I think everything we hear about planet X, The Mayan calender etc is bullcrap. I mean perhaps the Mayans couldn't just be bothered doing anohter calender after the long count ended they were probably too busy swinging on trees.

If anything does happen in 2012 it will be down to the insanity, greed and evil of us.

I agree, he has passed the point of reason and has become an agent of disinformation if he knows it or not. He makes a few useful connections but so much is new age fear mongering. I can't say I would be surprised. I've never studied his hand gestures, I can't stand to watch the man for more than 5 seconds. However, him being Illuminati or some kind of MI5 Disinfo puppet would not even raise my brow. The only other possibility I can concede is that somewhere along the line he stepped somewhere he shouldn't have and was basically backed into a corner where he was forced to in effect discredit himself by appearing to have gone off the deep end, as it were.

I too say that something strange will be going to happen which will eradicate whole human life from this entire world. But i dont think entire world will collapse in 2012. Because same theory has been said before during 19th century about end of whole world in 2000 but nothing has happened like that. Something like over population, economic crises will become cause of this end. Let us see how human life ends.

Here's a question, can anybody actually find me the origin of this quote / alleged prophecy? Because here is the problem I'm having with it, this quote is, as near as I can tell, simply another example of romanticized revisionism. If it sounds like something that was written by a modern environmentally aware individual, then it probably is. Native Americans have a cachet that many like to trade on, but the reality is they had no conception of environmental degradation and were extremely wasteful in some cases.

They were simply fortunate, their populations were small enough that the environment could successfully sustain them in those cases. You often hear the saying, that Native Americans used every part of any animal they killed. Fact is, they actually did have a use for every part of an animal, however this does not translate into needing those specific parts each time they killed an animal or using actually all the parts of the animal all the time. They could be as wasteful as we are nowadays.

Excavations have revealed buffalo slaughters by Native Americans, where they ran so many buffalo over a cliff, they literally could only harvest the meat from the top side of top ones, leaving hundreds to simply rot. Hardly sound wildlife management, if you ask me. With their low population numbers, it wasn't necessary to conserve in the same way we must, and they certainly wouldn't have sat around worrying about it, because they did not live under conditions in which that potential was even contemplated.

No offence to any Native Americans, I'm not trying to put you down, but I'm just trying to weed out the romanticized BS from reality. I find it irritating that a distorted view of a culture is used, good cause or not, it just shouldn't happen.
