The Left whined about the spending on the war and Obama spend almost as much for corporate bail-outs... and I though the Republicans were for big business! At this point in Bushes administration, we were at war with an enemy like none we'd ever fought, scattered across the planet in various nations and killing Americans in our own cities. That hadn't been a threat to Americans since the last Indian War. Sure, he made mistakes, he was doing something that no one had ever done before! What did he get for his efforts? People on the Left called him a monkey, said he had a low I.Q. and so on. Obama hasn't made any progress in the Terror War, has given the Chinese, and by default, their allies the ability to buy missile secrets free adn clear of government oversight and what does he get for his treasonous ebhaviour? They pin a bleeding Nobel Peace Price on him! By that same logic, we should be worshiping Benedict Arnold by now! (Oh, wait, he wasn't a Democrat.) It seems that if it is obviously bad for the US, the Left touts it as the right thing to do. i have to wonder how they will feel in a few years when some country like China is in charge and tells them to shut up or get on the cattle cars.... I bet they'll be missing those "Free Speech Zones" they had under Bush. Every nation in history that has been foolish enough to sold it's shield to buy a sword for it's enemies has suffer the consequences, and the Left wants us to do it because Obama thinks it's the thing to do? Even the few democrats I know have noticed this, they're even wishing they hadn't voted for obama and wonder why he's surrounded himself with nutcases and communists... Regardless of political party or ideology in America the federal government should not have such a powerful control over the public discussion and mindset. LMAO The only thing he has done to change our standing in the world is not talk with a southern accent! But seriously aside from engaging the Latin American communist and socialist regimes which Bush wouldn't he has done nothing different than Bush. I love hearing the Obama folks talking about how he changed the world's perception of America with his Cairo speech, BUT he said NOTHING that Bush hadn't said repeatedly over the past eight years. He just said it without a southern accent and with a (D) attached to his name. As for Obama being a center-right candidate .....ummm really?
