Pan-fried horsemeat. A little virgin olive oil and a tab of butter. Season with black pepper, salt and garlic powder.
Seperately prepare some vegies, then place in the pan for a final cooking.

Yum...

In an ideal World a law would be passed were NO guns were allowed and all those out there destroyed, trouble is the law makers are not going to take a risk of trying to pass that without making sure they are armed first.

The Romanian Gov't are complaining that if they dont send Horse meat to Britain their economy will flatten out.
The Health Minister has to apply to the Euro's in order to get a ban on importing Horse meat into the U.K. (how stupid is that)

THE ROMANIANS? they got a nerve!
I do not get it, just ban the import and start helping our own economy out. "Fair trade" to the UK farmers I say!!

Obviously Romanian Health ministers wouldn't lie, would they?

"A law banning horses from Romanian roads may be responsible for the surge in the fraudulent sale of horsemeat"

"The law, which was passed six years ago but only enforced recently, also banned carts drawn by donkeys, leading to speculation among food-industry officials in France that some of the “horse meat” which has turned up on supermarket shelves in Britain, France and Sweden may, in fact, turn out to be donkey meat."

This will explain the smaller packages. They used to be 360gm and now they are only 320.

BBC News channel now indicating horsemeat in Tesco value spag bol; just waiting for confirmation that its been found in veggiemince!
If so much horsemeat is in the chain, where is the replaced beef & pork being shipped to?

*EDIT* Misread the BBC Twitter feed - bet that's contaminated as well

Hmm, when did the rules change - seem to recall our beef exports were banned with all due haste at the height of BSE ?

This may account for the amount of people getting cancer. People in th past would die because of lack of hygiene and that we did not have the medications and surgical know hows of today, but cancer? how many did die of cancer back then to now? I often wonder what we are actually eating......or rather, what they are giving us to try?
What an absolute paradox.
As our society gets more technically advanced the chances of cancer are increasing.
Did we have mobile phones,X- Rays, phone masts and cigarettes in the middle ages.
So if somebody announced their findings about horsemeat giving us cancer I'll take it on board.
No hesitation whatsoever.
It could well be Bluewitch or Peruvian Wolf Peach that could have us undergoing Cimeotherapy.
Not that cancer is any laughing matter.
Btw I'm still getting palpations about Trachontis.

yes OUR beef was banned but it did not ban the beef coming in. ......or anything else for that matter.
