GoPlayonAhighway Posted August 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2015 None of the cultures with artwork shown were in contact with one another, and yet they all seem to be depicting a similar being. Just click on the thumbnail below and let me know what you think.... what if: was an ? or was an ? or was an ? or was an ? or was a ? I do know that :cat:s are actually :alien:s . Magnanimus Posted August 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Uhh, literally all of those cultures were in contact with each other, with the exception of Bolivia and Peru. And all of those pieces were cherry-picked from a span of history about two thousand years long, not mysteriously forged at one time by unconnected cultures. In fact, I'm reasonably certain that the Spartan, Greek, Italian, and Armenian pieces are actually depicting the same goddess. Same with Bolivia and Peru; I believe both are depictions of Viracocha.
Kenemet Posted August 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2015 (edited) We should add that the artifacts are from rather different time periods and other than the "it's a person holding Stuff in both hands", to an artist (which I am), there's not a lot of similarity in style and iconography. I think what it proves is that people who think they know what research is fail in a number of ways... the first being "check the timelines" and the second (as was said) "check the cultural connection." The Cippi of Horus is actually from Ptolemaic times, so its similarity with Greek items (since the Ptolemys were, as we all know, Greek and Hellenized the Egyptians) is not really surprising. ...and Sparta is considered Greek, and the Greeks colonized Italy around 500 BC. Where are your references to show they didn't have contact?
Echosignal Posted August 23, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 23, 2015 (edited) Ancient Sparta – Ancient Crete – Ancient Greece? ….Sparta was a Greek city state and Crete was part of the Greek civilization. I do agree though that cats are of extraterrestrial origin. Edited August 23, 2015 by Echosignal
JesseCuster Posted August 23, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 23, 2015 To my untrained and uneducated eye, they're all actually very different, other than the fact they they are human or humanoid figures with arms held out. They are all in very different styles and are holding a wildly different set of objects (and some holding nothing). What does any of this have to do with ancient aliens anyway?
