RoofGardener Posted September 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2014 This is an awful calculation to have to make. Sadly, I think it is the right one. Kidnap is an industry for these groups, and a significant revenue source. If we pay up, they kidnap more of our citizens. If we don't, then they will have less incentive to do so.
dryrain Posted September 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Now we know what a british life is worth. Its a hard decision to make the money could be used for the wrong purposes by the groups. But equally the govenrment wastes so many millions on so many different projects everyday.
Crabby Kitten Posted September 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2014 This is terrible. This so called civilised Government knows the fate of this poor bloke and can't be bothered to send in a rescue op.
