He's writes crime novels. He wrote 'Kiss the girls' and 'Pop goes the weasel', that were turned into movies.

Hermann Hesse, great writer and philosopher, too bad he has been forgotten in mainstream literature and philosophy.

Papillon by Henri Charriere. It has been a favorite of mine since high school.

Helter Skelter: The True Story of the Manson Murders by Vincent Bugliosi, Curt Gentry perhaps the scariest book I have ever read.

If you haven't read the Book of Flying do so now. It is the most amazingly written story I've ever read. Seriously, I Idolize that man.
