Drought-hit California is drowning in kittens

California's four-year long drought - already classed as the worst in 1,200 years - has long worried its people: more than 90 per cent expressed "major concern" in a recent poll. But now it seems really to be giving them kittens. Literally.

Having lived in Oakland for 6 years as a child, I had to giggle a little over that article. I kept thinking how handy the cats would be at getting rid of the Jerusalem Crickets, which get huge! :P I was so happy when we moved to the Valley!
