Athena1979 Posted October 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2015 Belle Guinness is a woman from the 1900s who allegedly killed up to 42 people. The police became tired of uncovering bodies at 10 male victims and 2 female victims and 4 children, that they stopped looking. Belle was reported to have killed her 2 husbands, her 1 year old step son, her adopted daughter and several suitors she had come to her property. All suitors were asked to have money in hand. Once Belle got hold of the money, the suitors were never seen again. In 1908, Belles house was Burnes to the ground. In the home, they found 4 burned bodies (3 children) and a decapitated female body. Some say that Belle escaped. The murder charges were given to the handyman who had been recently fired. But he states that Belle had it planned to burn down her house. She chloformed her children, bludgeoned their heads and then took a body of a woman she had killed earlier, chopped off her head, and started the house on fire. The plan was then supposed to be that Belle and the handyman would run off together. But Belle never showed up. There are so many unanswered questions on this case. I want to how the adopted "Jennie Olsen" showed up in Belles care. Stories from Swanhild Guinness ( only survng child from her late her father) speak of Belles children being very mean and vicious. Whatever happened to Belle. I say follow the money and you will find Belle. But it doesn't seem anyone did that. There was a reason the head was dismembered. http://crimeopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Belle_Gunness
LostSouls7 Posted October 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2015 Wow what a bloody case! Sounds like something from a horror movie.. now I see where they get these ideas from true stories
Antilles Posted October 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2015 The only reason she was discovered was when Andrew Helgelien went missing and his brother wouldn't give up. Ole Ray Lamphere must have one lucky SOB that she didn't turn on him. Personally, I think the best bit of all of it was her reason for Mr Gunness' decease. Part of a meat cleaver or an ax fell off a ledge above the door and done him in. She must have thought luck just wasn't on her side...or maybe it was.... Athena1979 Posted October 16, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted October 16, 2015 I think she actually hit him over the head with the cleaver. And then made it look like it fell on him. There was another case of Miss Esther Carson who was found to have poisoned her employer just after getting him to agree to allow her to be a cosigner on his bank account. This was in 1931. The California police brought in people from LaPorte to confirm that Esther was actually Belle. No one could positively confirm her identity as Belle. But the interesting thing is that Esther had pictures of Belles children in her possession. Esther soon died while waiting for her trial.
thedemon Posted October 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) Looking at the picture of her and her kids, just makes me wanna go through the pic and strangle this lady. How could anyone hurt their kids. Her daughter looks similar to my youngest. I know hell doesn't exist, but wouldn't it be great if it did? Some people just deserve to burn for eternity. And feel every agonizing moment of it. Edited October 16, 2015 by xxxdemonxxx
